Constant noise from the rail yard on the other side of the fence, and from the road directly opposite. As if that wasn’t bad enough the sprinklers were not adjusted and hit our rig every night at 12:30. No dog park, and there was some poop around the park. No effort made to clean it up. The water and sewer are on opposite sides so you have to throw your hose under. In short, if there is no other choice, don’t stay for more than a day.

Great view and full hookups, but, pool with no water in it (a couple of young guys were doing a patch job), miniature golf that’s a wreck, a cafe that we took one look at and left. So much potential but… what can I say, KOA needs to look into their parks!

Best WiFi we have experienced at a park, important because of very poor cell coverage. Sites are very basic, with gravel and sparse grass, and mature trees. Amenities are nice, such as cable, a small cafe, fairly nice dog park. There is no grocery close by, so shop before coming here. The store here offers basic needs but in general is overpriced. One small gas station about three miles away, and a couple of small local interesting looking bars (decided to pass on them).

Not our favorite. The park is very basic. Ok for an overnight, the park is typical for a KOA Journey.

I’m a little conflicted by this one. Here’s why:
Pro: Wildlife close by, the elk come in regularly.
Location in conjunction to the National Park and close to town
Great staff
Full hookups
Long pull thrus are very roomy, no trouble parking your extra vehicle
Picturesque

Cons: Sites are un level, bring blocks to put on wheels. Many off the ground on one side.
The amenities are ok but miniature golf etc. are falling apart.
The water spigot and sewer were semi buried
Lot of ground squirrel holes, be careful where you walk (I guess it’s to be expected)

All in all it was a nice stay, the park has potential but needs a lot of TLC.

We like the park. Not much room to park your truck/car at your site but parking close by. Great dog park, biggest we have seen. Grass sites with gravel RV for your rig. Around 10 minutes to town.

This is a retro campground. Gravel spots, which are very roomy. We really like the distance between neighbors. If you’re looking for playgrounds, stores, and moose costumes it’s not for you. No stores of significance close by, it’s more of a stop”on your way” to somewhere.

The campground is nice, even though the lake was shockingly depleted. A mile walk to the beach. Not much in the way of amenities. No dog park. Page is relatively close by. It’s still very picturesque and worth a stop.

We really like this campground. It’s clean and modern. A great place to stop when you need a break from the road.
