Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 28, 2022I only stayed at the Cottonwood RV Park one night but was happy with my stay. The woman that runs the place was friendly and maintains a clean park. She let me choose my own site which I liked very much. The other people staying the same night as me were friendly and quiet.
Cell and internet coverage is basically nonexistent.

Jessie covers this place pretty well below. Showers were nice and hot. While the WiFi didn’t work and the cell reception was snail in reverse slow during the day, it bumped to 4 bars of LTE after dark (AT&T) and I was able to stream video over it. Go figure. The owner was friendly as mentioned and had no problem with us just snagging a little corner of the park with access to a regular outlet as we don’t need sewer, water or 30amp+ service. This and Cadillac Ranch are about evenly comparable. There’s another RV Park just south, still in town, across from a cafe that has good food, wine and craft beer. The gas station in Bluff sells some essentials (including 3.2 beer) and there’s a laundromat across from it. Otherwise, this stretch of Utah is all about the rock formations and natural splendor rather than anything one might consider “amenities.”
Oh and two dogs were herding about four sheep through town. That was fun.

Beautiful park, with excellent views of the surrounding mountains. Its centrally located in the small village of Bluff, with easy access and wide roads within the park. Our site was very level, extra wide and long. Water pressure was excellent and power was clean and steady.
Nancy, the owner, was born in Bluff and her family has owned the park since it was built 18 years ago. They clearly care about their visitors and went out of their way to accommodate us even though we had no reservation. The park shows their commitment to service.
Local tips: The Bluff Fort is a must see; the story of how this town was settled is harrowing. There are several very good Trading Posts in town, if you're a serious collector of Native American art or textiles, this is a good place to spend a few days.
Be sure to drive over to Sand Island, BLM land on the San Juan river, there is a very large petroglyph panel; there has been some graffiti but its now been fenced off to prevent further destruction.
Comb Ridge restaurant is excellent for lunch & dinner (they don't take reservations, so get there early). They are also as close as you'll get to a local 'starbucks.'. Dukes is overpriced, and does not sell alcohol.
Note, internet access is iffy, at best, in the whole town. Even with our cell booster, we didn't get much during the day. The park has free WiFi, but it doesn't stay up for long. DirecTV, however, was quite strong.

It was fine for a one night stop. WiFi was crap. Sites were level. Felt a little attacked by the person working the desk when they asked if we had dogs and their response was “well they have to stay on leashes!!” (Duh). Paid $37 for a pull thru.

The trees were a welcome site, as were the full hook ups after boondocking at Lake Powell for 10 days! Nancy, the owner/operator, went out of her way to give us some history and information about the area, and showed us her beautiful photography!
The sites were gravel, level and plenty of space for our 34’ 5th wheel. Dogs are welcome, on leash and I appreciated and respected Nancy’s request to keep them off the green grass where tent campers camp. The town of Bluff is a good stop over and is located close enough to many of the areas attractions. Cell service was not very good in the area.

This campground was really nice. Pretty well-spaced sites and roomy for an RV park, plus amazing views of the rock formations in the area. Cell signal was good enough that I could work. Wish I'd had more time to explore the area! This was really just a quick stop for me en route to Arizona during some cold weather. It snowed a bit one night I was here (in late October).

We got in late, so called an booked online. Nancy is the owner and was very nice to talk with. Due to COVID, the showers and bathrooms were closed, so can't comment on that. However, the whole CG was neat and clean. Very quiet. Would stay here again.

Have only stayed here but having driven by other spots in Bluff, this definitely takes the cake - staff is super friendly and welcoming, Campground is scenic, sites and pretty spacious and the setting is quiet. Wonderful stay!
Worth noting, however that the work from the road prospects here aren’t great - WiFi was a bit intermittent and cell reception was no better.

Ok park. Office was closed when we arrived @ 2pm. Found our spot, cash only at least when office is closed. Spots are small, gravel is scarce. Pretty much camping on dust. Beautiful spot of the world. Town is heading towards another Moab. Two huge resorts jusT opened. Where is the water going to come from. Don’t ask corporate America, nobody could care less.
