“the ideal place to unwind and relax”
Set in the mountain community of Williams—Gateway to the Grand Canyon—the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park is the ideal place to unwind and relax. We have everything you need for an unforgettable experience, whether you’re hitting the open road as a couple or a family. Because when you’re traveling by RV, there’s no finer choice in northern Arizona than the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park. Take the historic train from Williams into Grand Canyon National Park without having to worry about navigating your rig through the busy Grand Canyon roadways! Simply park your RV in the clean mountain air in Williams, adjacent to the historic train depot. Grand Canyon Railway RV Park is also just two blocks away from Route 66 and downtown Williams.
Really nice RV Park. We were here for two nights. RV Park is part of the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and Railway complex. Lots of amenities which included those of the Hotel patrons. Very clean and well kept. Easy walking distance to downtown Williams for shopping and eating. We stayed here and opted to take the train to Grand Canyon because there were no sites available in Grand Canyon Village area. I do not regret this at all. The train ride to the canyon became another highlight of our trip.
Decent place to stay to access the railroad. We hadn't been in the area before so didn't know the lay of the land. If we were to do it again, we'd opt for one of the other parks in the area with more trees. There are several other options nearby.
What a beautiful park. Convenient to the train and walk to store and restaurants
Made reservations for train and stay on the phone. You don’t get the geezer discount or veteran discount online.
The park itself is great. It’s clean and well kept.
I’d say five stars except there is not really any hot water. Booo! Especially when Em the temps are around 25*. All amenities are super nice, clean and the staff is friendly. Just don’t count on a warm shower.
Awesome RV Park. We stayed here for 2 nights in 2018. Check in was simple, our site was level and easy to find. Typical mid-city RV park with not much privacy, but the facilities are clean, power and water pressure are consistent, and you're not really there for the park anyway. We ate at the buffet for dinner which was good, if a little on the expensive side - typical buffet fare - which likely has been affected by covid. We took the train from the station to the rim of the Grand Canyon which was a highlight of the trip. Our 10 year old daughter played the fiddle with the entertainer and it was fantastic. We had to pause for a small brushfire on the way back, but par for the course on a long-hot summer. Will definitely return. The park is also in a perfect spot for exploring Williams on foot.
Very nice park. It's very clean and we'll kept. Easy walk to downtown Williams where there's a lot of shops and restaurants. There is a shuttle between the RV park and the Hotel. The pool is at the hotel and the laundry is at the RV park. The Grand Canyon Railway Depot is right there. You can purchase various packages including your stay and the train ride to and from the Grand Canyon. There are only 2 issues that kept me from giving 5 stars. 1 - The dog walk is all gravel. No grass or dirt. 2 - There are only 4 washers and 4 dryers in laundry for a large RV park and the Hotel. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Such a great little park. It's clean and well kept. The facilities are nice and up to date. My kids loved that they could swim in the hotel pool and play at the park and we loved the pavilion where we could bbq and talk to other campers while the kids played and made new friends. We took the train in to the park and cannot stress enough that this is the way to go. If you can get on the Anasazi train with Mike definitely do. He's fun and knows so much about the park and area that it makes your time in the canyon much more enjoyable.
