Elderly guy at front desk could not find us until he called his wife on a flip phone that kept going out. Had to fill out and initial two pages of rules and info on us which I found very intrusive. Site was a muddy mess. Very wet due to rains but the gravel was inadequate. Jack pads sank into mud. Restrooms were all the way in front, quite a hike. One dump site which was hard to get to. Grounds themselves are green and pretty, too bad amenities are so poor.

A really nice campground with nice amenities. Our site was level and long. Western themed play area and store. Good wifi. They charged us $10 for checking in early. Not much in the area. Gas close by.

Really pretty KOA with lots of green areas and a brook. Lots of mature trees, so be sure to check to see if your satellite will work at your site. They do have local cable at the campsites. Could not get WiFi where we were, so you’ll need hot spot. On;y one or two bars on att.

I gave it a 3 because our site was terrible! That said I’m sure there are better sites. We booked early, last year, so I expected better. On a hill and one of the most un-level I have ever experienced. Gravel on the site and asphalt roads. No light in the dog park, very dark so bring a flashlight. People in the office were very nice and friendly.

Only 4 stars because the staff was so “ rules” oriented that they came off somewhat unfriendly. The park itself is very clean and well tended. Concrete pads, tv channels, good wifi.

Wasn’t sure what to say about this park. It does look like they are trying to make some improvements. The site wasn’t level, and there were some issues. Awful dog park, and it was pitch black at night. Dead trees should be taken down. A mixed bag to be sure.

Looked good, but the reality was anything but. The lady who checked us in was nice. She told us the dog park was closed. That’s it! The site was so un level my fifth wheel went out of stroke. Then I walked my dog over to the only grassy area. The asphalt was too hot for my dogs feet. Another woman came out and started yelling at me, asking “didn’t you read the sign to keep your dog off the grass?” The sign said “please be respectful”, not keep off the grass. I showed her the poop bag in my hand and told her we are always respectful. By the way, the grass was the fake kind. If she had been nice about it I would have accepted that. I’ll never stay here again!

Great asphalt roads, great slab sites. This was definitely a great park for us. Cons: not a lot amenities if any, but the town is close by. Expected a lot more from the town which was a disappointment.

We liked the park for the restaurant, store, location, nice landscaping, great staff. Now about our site, it was so un-level that the tires on our fifth wheel were way off the ground. It was so tight, that we had to move the picnic table over the flowers so as to put the stairs down. Laundry had three washers for a big park, one of which was out of order. Beware! Area around the hiking trails are covered in poison oak. No problem if you stay on the trail.
