“Experience Thrilling Excitement in Gorman”
Wrap up a day spent experiencing thrilling rides and excited crowds by taking the relaxing short drive to Pyramid Resort. The road winds upward as the pace winds down. Breathe in the beauty of nature as the decibels and temperature decrease. You can still find thrills here at 3000 feet, but you set the pace. Take a Pyramid Lake jet ski out for a wild ride, or bask in silence as you catch a fish dinner. Celebrate a victory at our mini-golf course or take in the peace of nature while hiking the hills. Whether you’re looking for an adventure or a retreat, you will find it at Southern California’s best-kept RV camping secret! Maybe tomorrow you’ll take a day trip to Los Angeles, Disneyland or the coast, but then find your way back to us. Spend the evening sharing your stories and enjoying the peaceful glow of the mountains and natural beauty that rivals every man-made wonder. All our RV sites are full hookup offering 30/50 amp electricity, cable TV, water and sanitation facilities. Many of our sites are shaded and most come with a concrete pad as well as a picnic table. When making your reservation, please ask if you’d like to be situated near our pool and Club House or closer to the Guest Showers and Laundry facilities. As our spacious RV Sites are 60′ long and 25′ we can easily accommodate even the largest RV vehicles. In addition, 50 of our RV Sites are pull-through. In addition to our full service RV Sites, Pyramid Lake RV Resort also offers 6 fully appointed 2 bedroom cabins for our guests. Each cabin comes with its own conditioning and heating system, bathroom, full kitchen and a fully furnished living room with sofa, dining table, TV, free Wi-Fi and a picnic table outside for those family evenings. Just turn the key and enjoy all the comforts of home! Many guests with large groups choose to “double up” by selecting an RV Site adjacent to one of our Cabins.

There's really no excuse for letting this park get as bad as it is. The location on the mountain is lovely with easy access from I-5. Close to the lake and the potential for a nice stay.
Sadly it's been allowed to go to hell. Weeds cover 80% of the property, including covering some old cars that haven't been moved in years. Several of the residents have junk and garbage stacked outside their RV. All of the out-buildings are closed with more junk around them. The "office" is an old metal trailer that is rarely staffed. The pool is green and the playground is unreachable through the overgrowth.
There are no refunds of the required full payment, no matter how much notice you provide - but they will give you credit for a year. I'm sure most people would want to turn around and leave. But there isn't another park nearby so good luck with that.
The 50 amp FHUs all work fine. The dirt sites are mostly level and the trees have been trimmed back. Even with the trimming we can't get our slides open on both sides in most sites. And these are small trees so just placed poorly. There are no services on site, but you can receive packages at the little kiosk out front. There is a coded gate but no other security. Staff are rarely on site.
We did feel safe and the park is quiet day and night. We'll stay again because there aren't other options.
