Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on February 27, 2023This campground has EVERYTHING! Waterfront lots, lake access, heated pool, tennis courts, and the list goes on. Fantastic campground but a LOT of OHV traffic and VERY expensive relative to the other campgrounds in the area. Cheap sites $69/night and upper-level sites $89/night. Despite the high price, I will definitely be staying here again on occasion.

Possibly worth it if you are joiner to the multiple activities offered - games, exercise classes, etc. Sites are large but no wifi or cable at the sites. For the
price I would expect these amenities. Clean, most staff are pleasant. Just not my cup of tea. Due to "no refund policy" stayed when I would have moved on.

This is a beautiful RV resort on Lake Havasu's edge. The grounds are well kept, the spaces wide. Looks like lots of folks are permanently here but the resort rules keep things looking good. About a 2 mile drive back to town for fuel and food. My AT&T signal was so-so.

We stayed the month of October at the Islander Resort and found the location to be unbeatable.
We could ride our bikes to the London Bridge and all of the restaurants in that area. The RV Resort had an on-site restaurant and coffee window, which was excellent. We never visited the pool because we were on the lake every single day. They did have a lot of amenities for shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, etc. The laundry room was clean and huge with plenty of machines and space, and even a puzzle lending library :).
We loved the hubub of Lake Havasu and there's no better place to be IN the action that at the Islander!
The sites are pretty tight but many have views, and most are within very close walking distance of the lake. We walked the dog on the beach every morning and she got to swim, the whole family was happy.
We created 2 videos of our stay there during October 2020 if you'd like to get a better feel for the place:

You get what you pay for very clean and well kept park very secure. Quiet beach front sites. Plenty of room for your rig and vehicle. We have two young kids I think we were the only kids in the park. Mainly full time snow birds with sites for drifters. We would stay here again but also inclined to try some of the other moderately priced parks

We stayed here after a lot of boondocking, so it felt extremely luxurious, but was also one of the most expensive parks we've personally stayed at. They had a very nice laundry room, hot tub, pool, showers, etc. Our site was an easy and level back-in, so no complaints there. It seemed like the park was mostly snowbird seasonals, but that was just the impression I got. My only real complaint was the lack of phone service. I was just barely able to do some choppy zoom calls on AT&T but we had friends with other phone plans that didn't seem to have a problem. The monthly fee seemed reasonable for everything you got, so would consider that for future winters.

RV Sites are sizable with lots of room. The resort is quite large with lots of RV sites as well as park model homes. They have a really nice pool and hot tub as well as lots of other amenities and activities like pool tables, shuffleboard, pickle ball, bean bags, etc. there is a boat launch, multiple beaches, walking trail on the lake, fish cleaning house, and more. Everything is very clean and well maintained. T-mobile service in town is fantastic but at the park it works great (5g) most of the time but will intermittently get slow and drop from time to time. Not sure if that was a T-Mobile issue isolated to the time of our visit or the norm. Our only real complaint was that so many people drive way too fast in the park (not usually being too picky about this, people have to be going pretty fast for us to complain) so be aware when walking around. Overall this is a beautiful and excellent resort. Well worth the $$$.

We had 2 nights reserved at this really nice resort. On our trip into town, we realized we were having major problems with our RV. We checked in and told them what was going on. While my husband was getting us set up, a gentleman with the resort brought us a list for local repair shops. We were able to get into a shop the next morning. We communicated with the office that we would be pulling out in the morning and not sure how it was going to go. Unfortunately, the shop had to keep our rig overnight and we got a hotel room. The resort has a no refund policy after check in, but they did not hesitate to refund our night we did not stay. They were kind and compassionate. We didn't experience much at this resort, but we did see was wonderful. On a side note: JR RV in Lake Havasu City took such great care of us and get us back on the road.
