This is great spot though need to drive in off of the road to find a good spot. I was here for 4 nights starting on a Tuesday. Friday night filled up and got noisy with ORVs and music. Left Saturday morning to find a quieter spot. Flowers are blooming and lots of good walking on old mining roads.

This is a great spot on the water. Cell service was good, put toilet clean and spot level.

This is a beautiful spot with lots of other campers and ATVs. Campers tuck into the trees surrounding a big open area. My only complaint was the ATVs and motorbikes that started going up and down the road at about 8:00 AM and went most of the day. It was manageable for a day - granted I came in on a Friday and left on Sunday. May be quieter during the week.

Verizon pretty much non existent. I had one, inconsistent, bar with my booster on.

The title pretty much sums it up. There were lots of mosquitoes in the morning and LOTS of biting flies in the afternoon and evening. I was unable to get very level in my van but it was fine for a couple nights and worth it for the view!!

This is a nice spot on the river. On a Saturday night in late July it was very crowded. Even with all the vehicles it was quiet and comfortable.

Some nice private spots in the trees but very noisy from the nearby road. Quiets down after dark though.

I camped by the big water tanks for the cows. Could see lights from the interstate at night but it was amazingly quiet. The cows were the primary noise makers. I had two nice hikes - one on either side of the road. Both were well marked with cairns.

Lots of broken glass and a fair amount of trash around. I had 4 bars of Verizon but it still flickered in and out.

I arrived late afternoon a Thursday and the place was mostly full. Had a campground feel to it. I did find a spot that was fairly level and it was quiet at night. Road getting in had deep ruts from previous wet times. I won’t want to be here when it rains. Looks like the road gets very “slimey”.

I was the only one here on a Saturday night in June. The road in was good. It was a quiet night. Pit toilets were clean enough but no toilet paper.

There are lots of options in this area. I spent the first night further down the road in an open area. Cows came by in the morning. The next day I moved back to the first parking area. Drive past it on a dirt road and past a second pit toilet. There are lots of spots in the pinon / juniper area.

Lots of walking along dirt roads or bike trails. Verizon was good with my booster on but when turned off it flipped between 1 bar and no service.
