Acccess is on good gravel road and this spot is equal distance from either the south or the north. There are limited numbers of spots along Pole Creek, but the ones that are here are great. We camped for several days and then were able to come back again a few days later for a second stay. There is some ATV traffic going by, but not very much. We think this is a perfect spot.

Saw this place as I was driving by . I parked in the back near the trees and other campers . The dirt road was level , but a little rough with rocks and dips . Had to go slow . Had a nice big level spot with panorama Mt views . Quiet , cooler temps . Wish I could have stayed longer !

Incredible dispersed camping. We found our site with no problem and fell in love with the area. It was quiet and only saw a few ATV's and other campers going by. There's a gorgeous snow melt stream down the road. When the sky was smoke free the stars were breathtaking.
We stayed here the longest of any other boon docking spot because it was so nice to stay and visit Buffalo. The Big Horn Mountains were fantastic. We had no cell service at all with Verizon at our site. The only way we found service was to find a path that took us to almost 9000ft. Then we had some decent service.

This is a beautiful spot with lots of other campers and ATVs. Campers tuck into the trees surrounding a big open area. My only complaint was the ATVs and motorbikes that started going up and down the road at about 8:00 AM and went most of the day. It was manageable for a day - granted I came in on a Friday and left on Sunday. May be quieter during the week.
Verizon pretty much non existent. I had one, inconsistent, bar with my booster on.
