This is a conveniently located dispersed camping option. Close to Leavenworth and just across the street from Lake Wenatchee State Park.
We stayed here well over a week and felt safe the whole time. There was a pile of trash that looked to be the remains of an old camper trailer, so maybe that's what came of the permanent resident reported by the previous reviewer.
There are two clearings large enough for a large motorhome or trailer, and a few other sites back in the woods for tents. We were able to get relatively good solar gains throughout the day to keep our batteries charged.
The only downside is that it's close to the road, so there is some traffic noise. There is very little traffic at night so it never bothered us.
We got workable Verizon data, though it improved significantly and was more stable with our booster.
Please help keep this place clean so that it remains available as one of the few free options near Leavenworth!

Easy to get to, close to Leavenworth, maybe 3-5 spots but couldn’t leave my car without getting attacked by mosquitos. It was so bad that I left to pay for camp sites the next few days. Would not stay here again, but maybe I just went at the wrong time.

Safe, beautiful, close to the state park. There is two sites for big rigs. We didn't disconect, about 50ft all together. First site has and old camper bones left behind. The second site probably scout, see if you are comfortable turning around. Internet speed 19.4 and 7. These speeds enough for VPN and Teams!

We found free camping at the Nason Creek Dispersed Camping Area located within the Wenatchee National Forest in Washington State. In this video, I provide you a walking tour of the Nason Creek Dispersed Camping Area. We found at least three big rig friendly campsites at this free camping location as well as an assortment of other campsites that may accommodate smaller vehicles. You should know that there are better free dispersed campsites nearby. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 10.3 Mbps download speed and 0.04 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 23.4 Mbps download speed and 5.14 Mbps upload speed. T-Mobile cellular service clocked in at 20.1 Mbps download speed and 1.61 Mbps upload speed.

This place was beautiful, easy to find, empty aside from 1 little pickup truck about 200 yards away. Unfortunately some felt it was a good idea to clean out their camper and leave all the trash including the mattress and oven. Zero light pollution for star gazing. Highly recommended!

This spot is really beautiful and there's a bunch of sites! Lots of space between trees and wildflowers. It's right off the road so you do get quite a bit of noise but it's convenient to hop right back on and get going. There's definitely still a pile of old rv stuff as noted in previous reviews and an abandoned fifth wheel in the back sites. Cell service pretty good for T-Mobile and AT&T. Unfortunately we decided we couldn't stay another night because the mosquitoes were so bad! The worst around 8/9pm.

Some nice private spots in the trees but very noisy from the nearby road. Quiets down after dark though.

We’re 45’ total 22’rv with a dolly tow so can’t reverse. Sure 3 has low hanging branches so would caution going past #2. If you can turn around in tight spaces you can further along the paved road. Satellite view on maps shows blurred obstruction on the through road. Indeed there is one entrance and that is also the exit. We had to unhook and reverse. Sites east to navigate and wide. Mostly flat. Currently being eaten by mosquitoes typing this up. Lake is superb just a few mins away. Can hear frogs and occasional car. Wednesday night.
