Great spot with easy access to it and within the parking area. lots of room. Grassy area. Vault toilet was locked. Wonderful views of the Missouri River and a breeze that kept the bugs away. A few fisherman here and 1 other camper,

Stayed 1 night on our way to the Badlands. Pulled in right at sunset (which was gorgeous on the river). The views are awesome, especially if you’re in the space closest to the river). There were 2 other campers and we all had LOTS of space. There was also a tent on the other side of the RV area. The vault toilet was disgusting and had no TP. We opted to go pee in the woods. There is a trash and recycling bin (which we’re not overflowing when we were there). I would not stay longer than an overnight but I could see it working longer for someone who wants to fish, too.
It’s also pretty close to Vermillion which is cute and has good food options (we stopped at Cafe Brûlé on our way out).
We’ll come back when we need an overnight along this route.

I was the only one here on a Saturday night in June. The road in was good. It was a quiet night. Pit toilets were clean enough but no toilet paper.

We pulled in on a Monday night with our 34' fifth-wheel trailer. The parking area was grass, reasonably level, a vault toilet nearby, a garbage can, boat ramp, street light, quiet, clean, and enjoyable views. There was no power or water available.

We stopped here in our 29’ class C motor home. The road in was well maintained, but washboard so we took it slow. The sunset was gorgeous, we had a nice area to walk around. Only one other Class A was there.

We stopped here on our way out to the badlands. We got to see a beautiful sunset over the Missouri River just as we pulled in. There was one camper nearby so there was plenty of room for us to set up our tent. The site had a bathroom that was pretty clean especially given the location. It rained through the night, but we did not trouble getting back onto the main road from the dirt road that led out to the campsite. Overall amazing place to stop over.

Tented here for 1 night. Easy to get to, quiet, any size rig should be fine, beautiful skies. There is a picnic table and a pit toilet there too but cannot speak to the cleanliness of toilet because we brought our own. Nice stay!

This seems to be a spot locals use for fishing. Only one vehicle present when I arrived, he was out fishing and left after hooking up his boat. A local couple came out to watch the sunset. Two trucks came and parked overnight on the other side. Quiet nights sleep but shooting started at 7 am. I don’t know if it was hunting or target practice but it was earlier than I would’ve liked. Also, my dog is older and terrified of loud noises so we had to leave faster than I had planned.

Nice level place to camp. Quite a bit of noise from the boat ramp and boats on the river, but that is to be expected. We were there on a weekend, but I am guessing the weekdays would be a bit more quiet. Nice clean pit restroom. But no water.
