Beautiful campground along a river among mature tall trees.. Really nice waterfall towards the end. Mix of RV and tent camping. Not very spacious sites is the only negative i have. Wish i could stay longer!

Very beautiful campground tucked back into the woods. This is true camping! The sites aren’t right on top of each other like some KOAs but i would have liked just a bit more space. We were there in early October when the leaves had just started turning so it was very picturesque and mid week so the camp wasn’t crowded. If all sites had been full it may have felt more crowded. Driving amongst so many trees seems daunting but theres room to maneuver and get through. Tight in some spots though but i loved the feel of the place. Very easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I wish i had several more days to stay there!
Very nice campground in a valley along a river. They have several sites backing up to the river. Very nice owners. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all its sights. They have a bathroom/bath house with a common room, a game room with video games and a nice playground for kids. We came in October when the leaves were changing and it was beautiful. Very quiet except for the slight sounds of cars on the far side of the river. Don’t be startled when you turn in and have to cross the seemingly wooden bridge!
This is one of the most picturesque rest stops i have ever seen! Tucked in the tall pines there are picnic tables spread around. Just stop and unwind a while!
To add to my previous review they have peddle cars, golf carts, mini golf, corn hole and a pool for activities.
The park sits entirely on the side of a hill. Our site wasn’t very level either front to back or side to side. There is a noisy train that passes nearby and blares his horn regularly which spoils the quiet. Sites are minimally spaced and my wife felt like we were “right on top of” the neighbors. I saw that they had a hayride but didn’t notice many other attractions. Also, be aware that when we put the address into Apple maps it put us on King street on the other side of the hill. Later we just asked siri to take us to Yogi Bears and the location was perfect. This review may sound very negative but our stay wasn’t bad. We’ve been to at least three other Yogi’s and this is our least favorite so far.
Nice small rv park. Quiet and set back off any major roads. Easy in and out if you want to spend time in Waco. When you come through the gate go down left side as the pull throughs and other spots are angled for coming in that side.
Beautiful small campground on the edge of a lake. It is located just off a busy highway so there is some road noise. You can hike halfway around the lake. Very nice folks working the office. Worth staying if passing by!
Also, if you do stay be sure to eat at Berry’s just a few miles up the road. Wonderful seafood buffet the night we were there!

Dated inside. Needs repair but they are pet friendly!
