Wendy Oaks RV Resort

Melanie was awesome! She called the day before our stay to warn us about impending weather and recommended an alternate campsite. We delayed our trip one day, and she quickly accommodated the change. She met us on arrival and escorted us to our site. We bought a bag of ice, and she delivered that to our site! We were on a back-in site overlooking the beautiful lake (site 5), and this was also conveniently across from the bath house. Bath house was clean, and had a secure code for the door. Precious ducks all along the lake. A momma duck with her little ducklings ran all around, and a momma-to-be was also sitting on her eggs just below our camp site. Right off a highway so heard a little noise overnight, but that’s only because I was awake with my husband snoring.😂 Would definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

Nice little campground conveniently located on hwy 49 and reasonably priced. It was a perfect overnight stop with full hook-ups on our way from Texas to Florida and on our way back. Quaint little pond stocked with lots of bass. Campsites are shady. Melanie is the new owner and making updates and improvements.

Stopped here on the drive from Texas to Florida. Current (and new) owner and on site manager is Melanie. She was super communicative from the very first contact and met us upon our arrival.

Melanie and her staff are working daily to make improvements to the park. Sites are well maintained and the park is overall very neat. Full hookups worked flawlessly and each site has it's own table and garbage can.

The lake on the property has a population of bass and Melanie is in process of contracting with a company to maintain the water quality for even better fishing.

There are a few long term tenants at the park. I met a few and they were very warm and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed at Wendy Oaks as an overnight stop on our trip from CA to FL. The surroundings are pretty and peaceful. The host Mrs Melanie was so kind and helpful. She provided us with her cel number in case that we needed anything. Space was well set up with nice view to the lake . Overall a great overnight stop.

Melanie was an amazing host. Made us feel like family and our stay was short but everything was perfect.
Great communication before arriving and during checking in. Site was just as described 50 amp full hook- ups.

Melanie is a great host. Very relaxing stop over while traveling south thru Mississippi. Lake is beautiful. Will definitely stay again!!

We had a wonderful experience here. The resort is small and easy to navigate, even in our 42’ rig. Site is level, gravel. Melanie was so very helpful and friendly, and really went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a small campground conveniently located on Rt. 49. Very easy to navigate, we have a 35' 5th wheel and had no issues. Sites are level and clean. Full hook ups worked perfectly. Melanie is a very sweet host/owner and she had Christmas decorations dotted about the campground. The lake was beautiful and we highly enjoyed watching all the ducks and taking walks around the lake. There is road noise due to being right on the highway. Overall, we would stay here again as it was a perfect weekly stop on our way through the south!

Nice, well maintained campground. Friendly, helpful owner. Convenient access off of hwy 49, however, that also means some road noise. We made an over night stop here on our way to Florida. Site 15 has a nice concrete pad and plenty of room. We would stop here again, for over night or a few days to explore the area. The rate paid is with Good Sam discount.

Campground is quite small, but we’ll layer out for our 43’F. There is road noise, but the amazing lake view made up for it. Owner, Melanie, is fantastic! We will be back!
