We found all the spaces really for s small motor home. If we were to pull into one of the designated RV spots we would have blocked traffic. You DON’T need to go to Walmart. You can park along the fence in the Home Depot. Their lots joins CB. As I write this review there 3-4 trailerable units and 2 motor homes parked for the night along wit 3 semi trucks. Nice spot that we feel safe stopping for the night.

We came to visit the Greenville area and this seemed like a nice spot other than the state parks and they were full. Actually, that was a good thing because the sites are along a flowing creek. Managers Terri and Bill couldn’t have been nicer. Upon arrival we were escorted to our site and assisted in backing in. The managers are engaged daily with the guests. I would stay again when in the area and skip the hassle of the state parks.

We came here for 4 nights before the Labor Day weekend. Our main purpose was to have a secure spot for our rig while we spent two night out on Mackinaw Island. The last two days and nights we explored the area. This in my opinion it a great option for very little cost. The casino has other free parking spots on their property that can be used.

We had a great time exploring the area including Penland School of Crafts and Spruce Pine. It would have been better to visit in May since so many shops were closed and in winter mode. That said this was a great campground with a friendly and helpful staff. It is imperative that you adhere to their check in procedures. The road in is very narrow and difficult if not impossible for two RV’s to pass side by side. Check out before 11 am and check in only after 3 pm.

The pad was asphalt with a grill, picnic table and full hook ups. For $74.25 a night I thought there should be better facilities. First, there is no shower in Trailer Village. I think it is because TV is a full hook up campground so I get that. From our site there was a heated restroom. It was NEVER cleaned the entire time we were camped in the park. To me that is unacceptable. When you arrive you are given tokens for the shower area at Camper Services. One token for 5 minutes of shower time. We used it once but only because we had a frozen dump valve so we were careful not to fill our tanks. The shower area also has a large laundry area and clean and has an attendant on duty who was very helpful.

We choose to stay here because the shuttle service picks you up at the entry gate and takes you every where in the park. For the whole 4 days we were at the Grand Canyon we never waited more the 15 minutes to catch the shuttle. The shuttle system is run very well. Another great thing about Trailer Village is that you can either drive or take the shuttle to the Market Area. The General Store was amazing. All kinds of quality camping gear and rentals if a person didn’t bring their own equipment hike and camp in the back country, We also felt the food prices were very fair unlike the store we stopped at outside of the park. It was a very nice grocery store with fresh meats and veggies. That place outside the park was a rip off - $3.79 for a gallon of distilled water! Speaking of water - you can fill gallon jugs inside the camp store in the village for free!

We would stay here again just because it is inside the park and the shuttle will take you anywhere you need to go to see the canyon. This was the first week of April with snow and the park was really crowed. We cannot imagine what it would be like for crowds in warmer weather?

We needed a basecamp area stay to visit the area. The state parks were closing but in actuality this site was perfect. How can you go wrong at $30 per night with full hook ups!

The parking lot was busy with casino goers but not noisy. We would stay again but I suspect in the prime season it is mostly booked.

I have camped here three times in 42 years - 1960 as kid, 1980 as a young parent and this time as a seasoned citizen! From the 1960 when the park was newly taken over land by the State of Michigan might have been a grassy wet field but that was NOT the case in 1980 and 2022. The sites might be a bit small but we had site 30 which is a pull thru. We made adjustments for tree in order to be able to open our awning. Other than that the showers were super clean and the camp was tidy. My only complaint would be that the loops could have been marked, The only way you know what site you are on is by the electric box.

The ghost town of Fayette is a historic site and worth visiting. I would stay again.

We came for Tybee Island but more for Savanna. Our site was a pull thru that borders the street. The staff escorts you to the site. They also are on top of clean up and making everything is tip top. I would stay again for visiting the area. BTW it is 16 miles back to Savanna. My only complaint is the dinky picnic tables - like children’s size

We stayed two nights and came for the Bridges. We found the town to be delightful and especially Doug at the Vintage Iron Shed. Anything cast iron he is “da man”!

Our site was on the lower side so we got some water runoff from the sites on higher ground. Some sites had full hook up but our sites just had 30 amp service and water. Overall, the camping and people were great.

We booked on the fly and got a spot easily. Bailey our host was very sweet. She handled a barking dog problem at 9 pm by calling the owner. There appear to be a lot of long term renters based on how their sites are set up. Yes, Pilot truck stop next to the park but I didn’t find it a problem. We would stay again if passing thru to AZ.
