Pros - Reasonable price
Near, but not next to Loves gas station
Nice long pull-thru spots
Gated entry
Next to interstate but noise not too bad

The new Loves hookups are a great idea and are much needed for rv'ers driving across the country.

Good RV park for a stopover, no amenities.
Owner is very nice and helpful.

Long pull through sites 1-5 are reserved for short term stays.
A few even have your choice of two sets of utilities, front and back.
On leaving you have an easy exit right onto 3rd ave with no obstacles.

Directions for the pull throughs:

From 3rd street -

1) Turn left in front of the Trailing edge sign
2) Turn right at the first intersection
3) Turn right just past the utility building
4) Drive into your site, site 1 is on the far left, site 5 is on the far right

Peak RV Resort is a new (2021) rv park in southeast Colorado Springs, CO near the airport.
Do not confuse this park with Pikes Peak rv park.

The interior rv park roads are very wide and it is easy to drive through the park.
The sites are crushed gravel and flat.
There is enough room to park your tow vehicle next to your rv if you park the rv close to the edge of the site.

There is some car noise from the nearby roads.

Pros:

Close to Montrose - 15 miles.

Cons:

Very limited number of campsites off of state 90 road.
Roads are rutted and in bad condition - get very muddy after rain.
Due to scrub brush you cannot camp anywhere other than a turnout or circle.
High clearance vehicle and rv needed.
Not RV big rig friendly.
A few camping areas that look good are on private land, not BLM land.
BLM camping near Delta and Grand Junction are better options.

Tall Town RV Park is located on a large gravel lot near highway 395 close to downtown Lakeview, Oregon.

It is big rig friendly with long, wide pull-through spaces and wide lanes. There is no chance of hitting anyone else when entering or leaving a spot.

The park is a few blocks from both highway 395 and highway 140 so it is fairly quiet.

The lady in charge is very friendly, helpful, and informative.
Reservations are by phone only.

There are no amenities, it is not a destination park, best for short stopovers or longer term for people working in the area.

Pro: Near two exits off of I-20 on service road, good for one night stop en-route east or west, $35 rate is o.k.

Con: Noise - Park is under the flight path for the air force base - planes are only a few hundred feet above the rv's both day and night. A train runs nearby with whistle. I-20 traffic is close and loud. Planes, trains, and automobiles galore.

Con: Uneven - Some sites are not level left to right and front to back - you will need to spend time leveling.

This may be one of the loudest rv parks in Arizona.
Constant loud traffic with cars and motorcycles on valencia rd and inside the casino property.
Autos and motorcycles with mufflers removed or modified to be louder.
A traffic light at the park adds to the noise with vehicles accelerating and de-accelerating.
It is several miles of traffic lights to get to the restaurant / retail cluster near I-19.

Note: rv check-in and entry to the rv park is behind the gas station.
enter directly from valencia road, not baumia rd.
No need to drive in front of the gas station.

Nice boondocking city park, ok for big rigs.
Plenty of room, all side pull-thru campsites on a loop road.
No hookups, although there are several water spigots around the park.
Also, dumpsters are on-site.
Some slight noise with barking dogs, not really an issue.
Lots of broken glass in some areas of park, stay on the main road.

Thanks, city of Lordsburg!

Good location for stopover to or from Big Bend National Park or Big Bend state park.
Also, an observatory is on-site with an astronomer guided program (weather permitting) at night to see the skies.
Sign-up is online at the rv park website.

Nice no-frill park just east of Marfa.
Big rig friendly, pull-through sites.
Short drive to town for food and gas.
Marfa lights viewing area is down the road.
No attendant, fill out form and put form and cash in box in office (an old rv).
Train track is very close, but not as many trains as other places.
Laundry is literally one regular washer and one dryer, pay cash in slotted box.
