The park sits on a former hay field About 3 miles outside of the nice town of Glen Rose. It opened in February 2020 and there is still work to do but the owners have done a great job. Long and level sites, with FHUs, fire rings, and picnic tables. The store is well stocked and the pool and hot tub are very nice. The roads are crushed limestone and it can get dusty. We had ample AT&T and Verizon signals using our booster. The nights are dark and the skies are amazing. The park borders Dinosaur Valley SP and there is a connector trail to the SP’s miles of hiking trails and access to the preserved dinosaur footprints in the river bottom. Across the road is Dinosaur World (a tourist thing that is great tape kids). It’s about 25 minutes to Granbury and it’s great town square. We will definitely return.

This park was a summer camp for kids for decades. The camp closed a couple of years ago and the owners have turned this 800 (yes, 800) acre ranch/farm/camp into a camping resort. There are 60 FHU sites, most are pull-through, and we had enough space for our 5th wheel. We were allowed to park our truck is the site next to ours as the park was not crowded. There are several small lakes for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. There are remnants of the summer camp that are being restored for the RVers to enjoy including a huge water slide. We had access to as much of the 800 acres as we wanted to explore and let our dog roam the fields (she loved it). There is a new indoor pool that is very nice, a rec room, basketball courts, etc. The only real issue with the site is the slightly uphill sewer run. I ended up just using my macerator before we left and didn't mess with connecting to the sewer. This is a work in progress and has a ton of potential. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

FHU with 50 amp. Pull through and back in sites. It’s in the grounds of a horse race track. Clean sites. We took the last available FHU pull through and it was tight. Good for a night or two. Friendly host. Diesel, Starbucks and Tim Horton’s (priorities) down the street.

Full disclosure we volunteer at Denali State Park. However, we have RV’ed in many state parks and K’esugi Ken is one of the best. The sites are spacious and plenty of space between each site. Each RV site has 30/50AMP power. Most are very level and there are a handful of pull-through sites. Not sure what one of the other reviewers experienced with the roads and trails, but the interior roads are one way loops for the RV and tent areas so no need for a ultra wide road. There are also trails within and between the tent and RV loops. There is a nice interpretive center and the day use parking lot is used for overflow as this campground tends to fill up early on the weekends and peak times during the summer. There is no dump station, but there are dump stations available at Byers Lake (12 miles north) or Trapper Creek RV Park (20 miles south). There is potable water available near one of the fee stations.

For hiking there are a couple of short trails accessible from the RV/tent loops and the day use/interpretive center. Moose Flats Loop trail has an amazing view of Denali, the Chulitna River, and the Ruth Glacier on sunny days. There is also the Curry Ridge trail, which is a 6+ mile out and back (additional loop was added in July 2019 extending the trail to up to 7.5 miles). The Curry Ridge trail is a moderate trail with spectacular views of the 1787 lake, Denali, Chulitna River, and the Ruth Glacier.

We needed a place relatively close to Seattle. Most RV parks in the greater Seattle area are full, overpriced, or are dumps. This is typical fairgrounds camping in an open field. Had full hookups (50amp) that worked great. Reservations and check in were a breeze. A few tips: there is a shopping area a couple miles from the campground that has it all. There is a new Starbucks half a mile away and the Sounder train station is right down the street. We took the very clean, inexpensive, and efficient commuter twin into Seattle for the day. Also, the ATT service was outstanding.

NorthLake is a clean and well run RV resort in the NE Houston area. The sites are all paved as are the interior roads. There is a very nice pool/hot tub area, a fishing lake, gym, laundry, propane refill, etc. Basically everything you need. There are a lot of longterm/permanent residents, but nothing junky. The resort is located very near train tracks and a large train yard. It’s also very close to IAH airport. So, there is some noise, but we expected that considering its the greater Houston area. There are restaurants, big box stores, grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. very close to the resort. Also, there is a very nice botanical gardens and a park about 2 miles from the resort. We would stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Presley’s was a last minuted decision for us. Very happy we found it. The Resort is located about 2 miles off of I-10 right over the Mississippi/Alabama border. You navigate down some FM roads and through a neighborhood, through land mostly owned by the Presley family. Lynn (the owner) greeted us when we arrived and escorted us to our site. He is genuinely friendly and we enjoyed our chat with him. Even though he has a restaurant on site he recommend Bozo’s in town (about a 20 minute drive...well worth it). The RV site is primarily grass with a wood deck and two concrete “landing strips” for the RV. The sites themselves are nothing special, but worked fine for us. But the RV sites are not why folks are here. The lake and beach areas are great and the views are really beautiful. Each year Lynn hauls in truckloads of sand for the beach. In addition to the restaurant, beach, and lake, there is a fishing pond (with piers), frisbee golf, sand volleyball, etc. There is free internet (fast enough for e-mail/social media) and cable (we did not use the cable). All the site utilities (50 Amp FHU) worked fine. The ATT and Verizon throughput is relatively weak (most of the time we had 1 bar). We would absolutely stay here again and would have extended our stay if we had the time.

This KOA is located near the resort towns of Woodstock and Lincoln, NH. We had site 1 which barely accommodated our 42 ft 5th wheel but the site was shaded and level. All the utilities worked well. There is a huge open area for the kids that has a bounce pillow, playground, and more. There is a nice walking trail to the river and a small lake. The town of Lincoln is very nice with a lot of restaurants, a tourist train, etc. There is an abundance of hiking in the area and the White Mountains are amazing. We really loved it here. I would say the only negative is the dusty interior roads.

Summary: We absolutely love this RV resort. We’ve stayed here several times over the past 4 years and consider it one of the best.
Sites: There are various site lengths. Most recently we stayed in row U which are long and accommodate our 42ft 5th wheel and tow vehicle. The sites are paved and level. You are relatively close to your neighbor with a grass area between each site. Note: The adults only section sites are wider (maybe twice as wide as the family section).
Hook-ups: Full hookups are available and the placement of the utilities are in the middle of the site. GREAT water pressure.
Amenities: This place has it all. Pools, hot tubs, gym, playground, basketball courts, etc. There area couple of dog runs. The dog run in the adults section is huge. Food truck on the most recent weekend that we were here. Trash pickup and propane tank refill (the staff will pick up your tanks and return them full).
Activities: You can rent fat tire bikes and side-by-sides here with the national forest access just minutes away.
Staff: The staff has always been great.
Area: Heber City has it all. Grocery stores, restaurants, brewery, and of course a Wal-Mart. There are several things to do/see in the area such as the crater in Midway (you can Scuba dive here) and we took a tour of the Heber Valley Artisan Cheese Dairy (relies heavily on robotics...very cool). About 25 minutes to Park City.
Reservations: Call or online.
Access: Easy access off of state highway 40 and the interior roads are wide and easy to navigate.
Cell Coverage/Internet/TV: 3 bars of AT&T and Verizon. There is free (3Mb) internet and the option to upgrade through a third party if you want to stream. They have a digital cable lineup as well (over 80 channels).
Price: The price is acceptable for what you get. We just booked for a 3 month winter stay.

The gem is nestled in the dell mountains about 30 miles south of Great Falls. We were in site 6 which was a VERY long pull through. The Missouri River is across the road and your surrounded by hills, mountains, rocks, water, deer and by horn sheep. The site was level amd all the utilities worked well. The water pressure was a little low but sufficient for our needs. There is a trial about a mile from the campground that is part of the Lewis and Clark trail. The driftwood bar and grill in cascade is a good place to grab a beer and burger. Very fast WiFi
