Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on November 15, 2020We stayed here for a few nights as we made our way along the Gulf.
There were many amenities that we enjoyed, such as a brand new, clean laundry room, taking our dog for walks along the lake, and taking daily paddle trips up the river on the kayaks. The sites have decks, picnic tables, and a dedicated trash can. We had a waterfront view.
But the part that we enjoyed most was getting to know our gracious host, owner Lynn Presley. An avid collector of anything vintage with a motor (and the Airstream in the back!), Lynn gave us a warm welcome. This property has been in his family for over 50 years.

Note, no alcohol is allowed. This is a family friendly park. It's like summer camp.

Presley’s was a last minuted decision for us. Very happy we found it. The Resort is located about 2 miles off of I-10 right over the Mississippi/Alabama border. You navigate down some FM roads and through a neighborhood, through land mostly owned by the Presley family. Lynn (the owner) greeted us when we arrived and escorted us to our site. He is genuinely friendly and we enjoyed our chat with him. Even though he has a restaurant on site he recommend Bozo’s in town (about a 20 minute drive...well worth it). The RV site is primarily grass with a wood deck and two concrete “landing strips” for the RV. The sites themselves are nothing special, but worked fine for us. But the RV sites are not why folks are here. The lake and beach areas are great and the views are really beautiful. Each year Lynn hauls in truckloads of sand for the beach. In addition to the restaurant, beach, and lake, there is a fishing pond (with piers), frisbee golf, sand volleyball, etc. There is free internet (fast enough for e-mail/social media) and cable (we did not use the cable). All the site utilities (50 Amp FHU) worked fine. The ATT and Verizon throughput is relatively weak (most of the time we had 1 bar). We would absolutely stay here again and would have extended our stay if we had the time.

We are doing our first cross country camper trailer trip with a toddler and we stayed here one night on our way back west. This place was such a wonderful experience I am writing my first review. It is not far off the highway so it’s convenient but private, the owner Lynn met us at the front and directed us to a pull through site that was close to the water with a view, which was so kind since the park was busy and we were only there one night. He was genuinely friendly and kind and was very COVID thoughtful. The site was pull through with a picnic bench and wood deck. We were only there for one night so did not get to use the restaurant but my toddler absolutely LOVED the beach, Lynn has done a wonderful job creating multiple little coves of beach so while there was a family celebration going on not far from us we had a little cove all to ourselves to play in. The beaches are immaculate and so beautiful and pleasant.

Mr. Presley is a fantastic host. He put us in a lake view spot just past the restaurant. We throughly enjoy the 2 days there & will definitely be back. I grew up in the area & forgot how nice Presleys is.
