We stayed here in October of 2022 because of it’s location right outside the National Park. It is a RV Park next to a tourist trap but it doesn’t offer much. The sites are bunched together and not well defined. We had difficulty deciding the dimensions of our site in the gravel. The hookups are on the wrong side of the RV causing us to have to step over the hoses to get in and out. They had an extremely small dumpster that was overflowing and parked under trees that made it difficult to get to. We stayed here on our way through Atlanta in Dec of 2022. We have visited here for several years and watched as the marina has improved and the campground has fallen to disrepair. The entrance is gated but surrounded by a boat yard that hides the dump station. (We couldn’t dump and leave through the gate without creative backing) The campground is at the base of a hill and has a few very nice sites that face the lake but VERY small, crumbling interior roads. When the marina is full, the cars take over all available spots and RVs must squeeze through them and navigate large pot holes to enter/leave. There is a family of ducks that have taken over several sites (including ours) and I had difficulty keeping them out of my truck and trailer while there. AT&T Down: 44.72mbps Up: 1.65mbps Streaming: 1.5mbps Verizon Down: 95.09mbps Up: 6.83mbps Streaming: 4.1mbps Starlink: (didn’t put out - too many trees)

Unless major investment is put into the campground, we do not plan to return.

Gorgeous park in the trees. The entrance is on a hill with a speed bump in the middle and the interior roads are a little snug. The site would have been long enough for the trailer and truck but there is a large stump in the middle of the site forcing us to pull forward enough to get past it to open the door. Because we had to pull forward so far, it put us a good distance from the utilities and we had to park the truck sideways. Surprisingly good internet access too! It was incredibly quiet and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return!

This is a very large, very nice campground that is run by some really pleasant people. We only stayed overnight and I was really surprised by the nice site they set us up on. A FHU pull through site with full grown trees and ample spacing between neighbors. We arrived around dinner time but they took the time to escort us to the site and made sure we got set up with no problems. We didn't stay long enough to check out the campground but I can see why they have such a good rating and we will definitely be back!

This campground is in the center of town, close to grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations and parks but also a lot of traffic and the noise that goes with it. The back of the campground is the field to the High School. We were assigned site 22 which has a fence topped with barbed wire that separated us from the business next door. There are two things that set this campground apart from others; the super fast Strata internet and the full grown canopy of trees. We stayed a month and had no problems working and the trees made a huge difference keeping us cool in the high temperatures. The site was level but cramped (our picnic table sat under the windows of our neighbors). We shared a water spigot and the sewer connection was actually located underneath our TT. The campground stayed pretty full the entire month and it was difficult at times to leave/return because the dump station is on the side of the checkin building. Inside the checkin building is the laundry and restrooms/showers (all clean) and an artist studio. The campground owner was very welcoming and courteous. He showed us to the site, helped us back in and gave us the scoop of all the things to do in the area.

Plan a trip to the Dinosaur National Monument. (very cool dinosaur bones and petroglyphs) Also, take a day and drive the Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway including the Sheep Creek Geological Loop (Hwy 191) for gorgeous views! Brownings restaurant in Manila, UT serves a great hamburger!

This park has its definite pros and cons and they are the same. Pros: 1) Incredible, full grown shade trees. 2) It's literally in the middle of town and everything you can imagine is within a few miles of here. 3) Park manager/owner, Blake is knowledgeable and very kind. 4) This park is sandwiched between a convenience store and a tire shop and on the highway. Cons: 1) The shade trees make a huge difference in the heat but can do some damage in a wind storm when the branches break off. 2) Being in the middle of town, the traffic can get bad and it brings with it all the noise. There are some drivers that pretend they are at the Indy 500 and their trucks and motorcycles sound like you are in the pit. 3) Blake is very kind but his father isn't as patient. 4) Being between the tire shop and convenience store means a lot of noise even after dark. The store has a sweeper that comes through between 10pm - midnight several nights a week.

The sites are very close together and it can get very loud on the weekends between the campers and the highway noise. We stayed here for the months of June and July, waiting for our new RV to be finished in Arizona because it has such great shade. This is not a destination campground but it has FHU that work well, shade and everything you might need is close by. The price is the monthly price which includes $100 deposit for electric. We stayed on site 23.

Pure Bliss Day Spa gives excellent massages and the Khao Hom Thai Kitchen food truck on the same street had really great food! (N Vernal Ave.). Shane's doughnuts (across the street from the campground) has really good french toast doughnuts. (Call ahead and order them for the next day because they sell out quickly!)

I wouldn’t call this a campground. I would call it an old trailer park that they tried to turn into a campground. If we weren’t tired and having difficulty finding somewhere to stay in the area, I would have left immediately. We stayed on site 22 and then had to move to site 28. It is a family run business but no one is spending money on it. The entrance is off a busy highway and you have to get around the gas pumps, which is difficult when customers are pumping gas. Lots of highway noise. The interior roads are mostly dirt with a little gravel and major potholes. The sites are packed together in weird configurations making it difficult to maneuver. It is mostly full time residents here and they are not well kept. There is a basketball court in the middle of the campground, a swing set, old, buried tires and a broken golf cart that make up the “playground”. The back of the campground has several dilapidated buildings at the edge of the property that remind me of a Halloween exhibit. The bath house looks new on the outside but the inside was dirty and looked like it had a new skin on a rotten core. I refused to use it. The only positive I have for this “campground” is the laundry. The machines all worked and looked clean. We do not plan to return.

This is our second trip to this state park but the first time we've visited after a hurricane. The roads are severely damaged and several trails are still closed off. We stayed on site 53 and the last campers left a hot, smoldering fire in the fire ring in the middle of the site. We had to relocate the ring and all the hot coals with a couple pieces of wood before we could back into the site. It was spacious enough for the TT and our truck fit well across the front of the site. The natural vegetation made the site feel private even though our neighbors were close. An armadillo visited each evening and the squirrels loved racing across the top of the TT. The trees on the side really need to be trimmed. I had to get out and hold several branches back to get our slide all the way out. The site is packed sand but we didn't have a problem leveling it side to side but we had to lower the front all the way down to level out front to back. A shower house, dumpster, and playground equipment were located close to this site. The dump station is right outside the loop and easy to access.

We drove to Pensacola beach to enjoy the day and realized that we were in the middle of the Foo Foo Festival when the Blue Angels arrived and put on a spectacular show overhead! (Nov 4 - 15th). The Blue Angels must take off and land very close to the park because it got quite loud at times. The graffiti bridge is worth a trip and Tops has a pretty good burger.

We camped in the A loop on site 16. The interior roads were a little narrow but doable. We were very pleased to discover that we had picked a site that was covered with large trees that kept us out of the sun, since the temps got warm during our stay. Our site backed up to a large open space with playground equipment and the clean bath house across from us but we were far enough away to keep us isolated from the noise. The site is long but large trees make it narrow so we had to reposition it to leave room for the slide. We chose this place because it was a great location between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens but we loved the privacy, quiet and beauty of this campground in the woods. We had a few issues with the electric though. We didn’t seem to draw as much power here as we have at other campgrounds and the current would cut out briefly each time the ac came on. (It wasn’t a big enough issue to move since the power didn’t fail.) No issues with the water and the we had really good connection with AT&T but Verizon was poor. (see pics).

Well manicured RV park located behind commercial buildings but retaining the neighborhood feel. Lots of permanent residents and close to the highway but we didn’t notice because it was so quiet. Good wifi, clean bathrooms and a laundry room that got a lot of use and worked well. We were put in the very back of the park and had nice views away from the highway. The site was level and spaced wide enough to not feel cramped.
