We've camped here many times. It's our go to place when we want to stay close to home. We always have a good experience.
We have been at several different marinas on Lake Allatoona and we recently decided to move our boat to Holiday Harbor Marina. Their prices are very competitive and we like the campground being so close to our boat slip. We have friends and family with campers and it’s nice to be in such close proximity. We have had nothing but good service and the staff has been very accommodating.

We always stop at Holiday Harbor when we are passing through Georgia. It’s one of our favorites. Nice view of the water. Reasonable price. It’s all good.

I will never stay here again. As it is a pretty place, some of the amenities offered are not available. The staff cannot communicate properly and they will say anything to appease the customer just to keep you quiet. They lie and do not fix the problems.
We were told when we made the reservation that they are not a full hook up service, but they have a pump out service at a minimal charge for your convenience. Well.....we checked in and didn't bother to tell us that the pump out service was broken. I called them to put myself on a list because I was full to find out that their service was down awaiting a part. Then we were told that the part was put in but needed 24 hours to cure. But I can go to camping world and solve my own problem. We went back the next day and we're told they never had the part. A few calls later we were told that part was in and thus would be out Monday. It was a no show. Meanwhile we had to break camp and hitch up and drive to a dump station and ready setup camp. That evening we were promised they would be out Tuesday at 7 am (we had standing water in our shower)....they were a no show AGAIN!! They called the person and he said it won't do it until Thursday because he's busy. We've asked for the name and number of the person who owns this campground and they did not cooperate.
Bottom line they are not doing anything to make a customer satisfied and they don't care naomi now I am doing my part and making the customer beware.
Also, they promise for wifi service....NOT!!!

Holiday Harbor is a full service marina and campground. We have camped here. We've had a boat here and this summer for the first time we rented a pontoon to take some out of town family out on the lake. The rental was very nice and reliable. We enjoy all aspects of this marina. Very good service and prices.

We stayed here one night. Our site was difficult to access. We checked in in the afternoon, found what we thought was a good way into our site and overlooked that it was on a diagonal hillside because the views were so perfect.
We left and came back after dark only to discover the way we had intended to enter the site was blocked by a truck parked in front of it. Luckily a neighbor was still up and pointed us to another way in. However, because the site was a soft forest floor, we spun our tires trying to drive over tree roots in the dark and nearly got stuck rocking our van back and forth trying to get into the site.
Our neighbors sat outside for several hours chain smoking, their dogs barked at us every time we went outside, and they left their outdoor lights on all night long, bathing our bedroom in bright led lights.
We were awoken at 5:30 am choking over the fumes of an idling diesel truck, and the noises of multiple sites packing up to leave.
While we were able to connect, The advertised wifi never loaded any websites, presumably too much traffic.
The only saving grace of the entire ordeal was that the office staff didn't give us any hassle when we asked to cancel our stay and didn't charge any cancelations fees when we explained our issues, hence three stars instead of one.

Ended up here only because not else was available. That said, the Holiday Harbor staff were friendly and helpful. The power and water hook-ups functioned, even though damaged. Showers are available, but far from the campground. There is not a dump site on the property, which was disappointing for the rate.

This is more of a marina with some campsites by the docks. There are only two generic individual non-airconditioned bathrooms with showers near the office. The whole place is not well maintained and actually looks like there are unfinished projects everywhere. We had read other marginal reviews, but were ready to stop for the night, so we called just before the office closed at five o'clock and the gal answered and graciously set us up for after-hours arrival. The dump station there is only operational on Mondays and Thursdays and then only during certain hours; I surmise it is more for the live-aboards. Too rustic for us, although the lake is picturesque. We will try other places nearby before coming back here.

We stayed at Holiday Harbor to give it a try since all the public campsites in the area were full. The staff were friendly and stayed after closing time (5pm) to check us in.
Getting in was a little tricky there were cars parked in the RV checkin lane and boats and boat trailers just about everywhere. There wasn’t any signage indicating where to drive to which site numbers and the turns were a little tight in places.
Our site was right on a corner so it took some time to get into the site. The water and electricity hookups were on opposite side of the site and we ended up having to go to Walmart to buy a longer water hose.
We decided to leave a day early since I was worried about the dump-station being really busy and hard to get to. Boy was I right it was easy enough to get in but getting out once again took some backing up and maneuvering because it is a tight circle and there are a bunch of boats standing around. Another negative is they didn’t have a water connection or hose there to rinse your pipes.
Overall Holiday Harbor was disappointing especially since there are so many other awesome places to stay in the area. I would not stay there again.

The website says "you will enjoy the fact that all of our sites have ample space between rigs. We don't believe in cramming sites together instead the average distance between sites is 30 yards." This is LAUGHABLE. Our site was maybe 20 feet from the neighboring rigs, and was situated between two trees that were borderline impossible to pull between, especially when backing a trailer in.
We arrived after the office was closed, and there was no after-hours checkin information provided...no map, no instructions, nothing. The next day, the office called hinting that we were going to be charged for not returning a "gate card" that was never provided and I wouldn't have known how to find, given their total lack of checkin materials.
The whole site is very uneven and was widely strewn with dozens of random vehicles and utility trailers, with bumpy, narrow, and completely unmarked paths. Website's description is a gross misrepresentation of the setting and even though we are not typically very picky about sites, this one was totally deficient. NOT recommended.
