We were going to stay at Smith Falls State Park but needed hookups due to the 100 degree weather in July. Sites are filed in but still a relatively small and quiet campground. Trees have been planted so some spots are shaded. The grounds are pleasant to walk and there is a beautiful goose roaming the property.
The office lady was super nice and very helpful. Bathrooms are clean and laundry is available.
This is a handy pass through but I would not choose as a long term stay. I will stay again if coming through.

Sites are decent - not a lot of space between sites but otherwise perfect! Walked to the beach which we almost had to ourselves! Showers were clean and warm. Staff was super friendly. WiFi signal good

Great Hiking - beautiful dry camping in Soda Pocket Campground. There is access to dumping and water in Lake Alice campground. Nice park hosts and rangers. We will come back! This is a place to disconnect - with a WiFi extender - I could occasionally send a text but that is it!

We were pleasantly surprised by this park. While we could hear the oil rig pumping on our walk - we didn’t notice it while we were inside our camper van. Well maintained spots and beautiful scenery.

Nice stay when passing through. Limited shade at sites. Small and quiet state park near the interstate with a couple ponds. Saw a beaver in the large pond. Verizon did not work well but T-Mobile did. Bathrooms were ok - sites were well maintained. Would stay one or two nights again if passing through.

We enjoyed our stay at Chadron - nice spacious sites, great hiking, beautiful horses, and nice hosts. The pay showers were clean (I think it was like 1.25 for 7 min). The bathrooms were also very clean. No problem with the internet signal. As others have mentioned- you can hear the interstate when at the campground outside of your rig depending on your spot - but not that bad.
Electric plus sites only but has dump station with drinkable water fills

This was our 2nd stay at the Roost Resort. We absolutely love it and will be back again. Location is close to Custer and Custer State Park. Views are amazing. Park is quiet as less than a dozen camper spots. This place has a home feel to it with amazing views including daily sightings of deers. Bathrooms are always clean, showers are hot, and the owners are friendly.
