Cottonwood Campground

This park is perfect for a stop while on a road trip. It is literally right off the freeway and next to a gas station. Complete with covered picnic tables and a beautiful lake. Attendant at the gate to help and place was clean. I will admit I was just wanting a quick stop and so I didn't get to enjoy the park as it was $12 just to enter and I wasn't planning on spending much time there however, I could see most of the park from the freeway/entrance and could tell that it was a beautiful place to enjoy. Still gets 5 stars from me!

Very nice, close to the highway but still a quiet camp ground with friendly and accommodating staff. Great pit stop along the way for some tired travelers.
Only stayed one night.
Bathrooms are clean, sites are easy to navigate, pet friendly is a big plus for us, with lots of room to walk, run, swim your dogs.
All around a good find for us.
And it is close to food if you don't fee like cooking after a long day on the road.

Located right off of I-80 making it an easy stop on a road trip. Facilities were well maintained and the place itself was pretty with lots of grass and several lakes throughout. There are also plenty of trees for hammocks. Each camping spot had a picnic table and fire pit.
