We stayed at the Lancaster Event Center several times for multiple nights each time. We have family in the area and this is the most convenient place with H/U to visit them. It is basically a large, gravel parking lot, but it has E/W (and a free dump station on site) It always has lots of spaces available (except during a few weeks in July). There are no picnic tables, fire rings, bathrooms. or showers. There is a very nice walking trail that runs along the southern border of the park which we used a lot. There are also interesting events to go watch if you are interested in horse competitions or sometimes dog shows. We recommend it, but know that it is not pretty.

After leaving Pipestone Natl Monument and heading toward the Twin Cities, we decided to take a chance on this park. We are so glad that we did! It was so beautiful and the sites were huge and well spaced apart. It has many trees and also huge open grassy areas, both challenging and easy hiking trails, equestrian trails, lovely playgrounds, a stream, picnic shelters and tables, etc. There are two campgrounds, the Lower c/g has 16 sites and the Upper has 14. There is also a separate Equestrian c/g with 22 sites. The first 5 sites in each area is reservable, the rest are FF. All sites have electric only. Phone coverage was sketchy in the park as it is down in a valley. As soon as you start to head uphill, it gets much better. It is easily accessible, but the road was dirt and long. It made a mess of our toad. It was practically empty in May. Highly recommended

We needed a place to stop just for the night and after reading other reviews, chose the Four Aces. It is a level, safe, quiet, pleasant place to stay. There is a stream with a path, a large covered patio area for gathering, BBQ, with a nice swing, tables, and seating. We didn't use any other amenities. Owner prefers cash.

We are heading back next week! We love the atmosphere of this small, maintained campground. It is lovely, cool, and has easy access to the beauty of Cedar Breaks. Meadow, trees, hiking trails

This was a welcome surprise, a free campground with electric and water hook-ups courtesy of the city of O'Neill, Nebraska. Another reason this state is known as "Nebraska Nice" There are probably around 20 sites, a few with picnic tables. Just to the north of the c/g is a trail that goes for several hundred miles for hiking or bike riding across the state. We walked about a mile of it and we passed cows and farms and it was quite pleasant. There is the option to leave a donation, but one is allowed to stay for up to 3 nights free, then it is $10 per night. (We left a donation and I picked up some trash as I was so amazed at the town's generosity)

After reading other reviews, we chose to camp at this lovely state park. Reservations are required and if you don't have them, you must call or go to ReserveAmerica to get one. We found one site for one night that would fit our 35ft class A so we booked it an hour before arriving. When we arrived we realized what a gem this location was and called to reserve a second night in a different site. The new site was even better than the first with a full on view of Pike's Peak and our own terrace area. Many, if not most, sites are pull-though and all have fire rings with picnic tables and electric. Note that there is also a fee to enter the state park ($9 per vehicle) This is a beautifully kept park, many hiking trails, playground, Little Free Library, a lake, and more. We would definitely come back, but next time we would stay much longer!

I was pleasantly surprised that this c/g next to an amusement park was so nice. The sites were a bit close together, but there was a lot of grass, sites were level, pull-thru, FHU, and paved. Look closely for the entrance when arriving. We missed it and it is not easy to go back. We would camp here again.

This is a favorite campground. Sites are spacious, many trees, lots of grass. The views are beautiful with fruit orchards in the valley and the lovely red cliffs in the background. The fruit is free for the picking, free firewood, and free dump for the RV. The weather in August was 85 high and 60 low. No cell service in the park.

We loved this NFS Campground located at 6800 ft and just 30 minutes from St. George, UT. Pine trees, large sites, (many pull-through) privacy, gravel pads, concrete slabs with large picnic tables and fire rings and we even had our own corral! Anyone can stay at the equestrian c/g although they save at least 2 sites for those who do have horses. The whole area has several campgrounds connected by a meandering asphalt path which follows a beautiful creek. The other c/g have concrete pads and flat designated tent areas and are just as nice, if not nicer than the Equestrian c/g as many have views of the fishing reservoir. All in all a lovely area and we look forward to returning.

I looked last minute for a weekend site and was lucky enough to score 3 days! This c/g is hilly and wooded and has 112 sites over quite a large area, however, many sites are situated close together and many roads are quite narrow. (luckily my guy is an expert at backing in) Sites are asphalt and most are pretty narrow. Ours certainly needs some TLC as there are potholes, but it was ok. Our site (64) was pretty level (some are not at all!) and there is no lake view, but most sites do not have a view. The best sites for larger RV's are probably in the loop in the 70's. it is a downhill walk to the lake and boat launch. Our site has a concrete picnic table. Some sites have a covered table. They need more trash dumpsters on site. Our site had 50 amp and water (the c/g has upgraded it's electrical and many now have 50 although ours was advertised as 30amp) Dump is at the exit.
