Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 05, 2020I have stayed here several times. On site restrooms and showers are not the best, but acceptable. They keep it mowed and sprayed for bugs. Donation box at the entrance. Right next to rodeo arena. Must register at city hall if staying more than 3 nights

We stayed in a MH. May was a very wet month. In 2019. So grass hadn't been mowed for awhile. But it's real nice place to stay. Water and electric. Dump in park. Very easy access off highway 281./ Roaming towners will stay again. / 3 days free $10 after that.

Needed some sprucing up, but it was fall. A little road noise but not bad. Bathroom needed cleaning. Good enough for a night. As I always say pack in pack out, and always leave it better than you found it, or maybe some day places like this will not be available. Thank you city of O'Neill!

We had no issue getting our 42' 5th wheel into this park due to it being part of the local rodeo arena. This beautiful little city campground has several sites with water and electric. The site we were at had both 30 and 50 amp service. There was a dump station, but it was only for grey water (sewage as they called it). The signage was very clear that black water (septic as they called it) was not to be emptied there.
There were two other campers that appear to be for electrical line workers that were in the area. They appeared to be staying longer than the free 3 day limit. If you want to stay more than 3 days, there was a number to call to register. I am unsure what the rate is for a longer duration.
We had good Verizon and AT&T voice with 4G data for each. The water pressure was about 60psi. We didn't have any issues with the 50 amp service. Google satellite view gives a good depiction of how the space is laid out. Overall this was a quiet campground in a nice little town.

This is free (Donations accepted) for the first three days, then $10 a night plug in, $5 a night tent, payable at town hall. Be aware, while we were here during the pandemic the restrooms and showers were locked.

This was a welcome surprise, a free campground with electric and water hook-ups courtesy of the city of O'Neill, Nebraska. Another reason this state is known as "Nebraska Nice" There are probably around 20 sites, a few with picnic tables. Just to the north of the c/g is a trail that goes for several hundred miles for hiking or bike riding across the state. We walked about a mile of it and we passed cows and farms and it was quite pleasant. There is the option to leave a donation, but one is allowed to stay for up to 3 nights free, then it is $10 per night. (We left a donation and I picked up some trash as I was so amazed at the town's generosity)

Free first 3 nights; then $10/night. At south end of town, on SH181. (N42.4512 W98.645) A nice place, if a tad rundown. Horse arena adjacent to camping area. Camping sites are next to a small creek with trees for shade. Camping sites have water and electricity, and there is a dump station, at the far end of the camping loop. Restrooms with showers. We were surprised to find different signage than the reviews stated on Campendium. It looks like it is now $20 per night and they ask for donations as well. There are electric hookups, water, and a grey water dump as well as showers and flush toilets; so we don't mind paying, but we were hoping to stay 3 nights, now we're only staying 1. It is quite loud with traffic noise as well.
