I refer u to Nathan Wanderly’s review. I can’t say it any better. We had a good time & the blue bonnets were spectacular. Our 5th time to Big Bend and we love it every time we come. I guess you could say we’re Big Bend junkies. Star gazing is the best.

Lotsa nice rv parks close by that r less expensive & nicer! Close to Interstate which makes it convenient. Not well kept. Sites r kinda level. Pine sap drips on your rig & is not easy to remove.

Close to the beach! Close to Dirty Al’s restaurant which is one of the best seafood places on South Padre Island! Lots of shopping! Right next door to Isla Blanca Park. Fish off the jetties or fish in the surf! Frozen shrimp is the best all around bait. Fishing on the bottom works best & an be really good at times. Go snapper fishing on one of the local head boats or book a local fishing guide for some great bay fishing.

We had read about the pool & Ft Clark Springs on Campendium and wanted to check it out. Had a great time exploring the fort & museum. Museum is only open on Saturday. Plan on 2 to 3 days to make the best of your experience!

Quick easy check in. Staff was polite & friendly! Easy bus ride down to the Alamo & the river walk. Beautiful at Christmas with all the lights. the river walk is great st anytime of the year!

Had to sleep with no ac as electricity was so bad we were afraid of burning up our AC unit. Bad roads! Bad electricity! Really a dump! Camp at your own risk!

Close to Lehmans, the Football Hall of Fame, & the Rock'nRoll Hall of Fame!

We were here on the 4th of July. Great campground! Right on the river. Bring your own tube and float the river or rent a tube. Great fun! People watching at is best! We go for the 4th every couple of years. Great on a hot summer day. Close to town!

We were here to visit brother in law. Close enough to shore to be nice. Lots of trees. Entrance is hard to see. Keep a close eye out or you’ll miss it. We use cricket wireless & had one bar!
