Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 08, 2023We were here on the 4th of July. Great campground! Right on the river. Bring your own tube and float the river or rent a tube. Great fun! People watching at is best! We go for the 4th every couple of years. Great on a hot summer day. Close to town!

Really great place! Nice pull through sites with plenty of space between campers. Clean well run place. The river rafting and the pool were closed due to Covid, but still had a great time here. It is just a short walk to the Guadalupe River.. where you can wade, fish, float or picnic. This is a real peaceful and beautiful place.
We recommend this place and plan on coming here again.

Not impressed with customer service and possibly the world’s worst water pressure, but level spots with okay hookups. Loud cars, motorcycles, and sirens driving by all day and night. We had to reserve the spots because the original reservations we had made were coming to an end and they didn’t have any spots for us to reserve in the days following so we called Rio Guadalupe because we didn’t know what the state of our home would be in after the storm and needed to be sure we had somewhere to stay in case we couldn’t go home. When we found out that our home was okay and tried to call and cancel AHEAD of time for our reservations we were told there is nothing they could do for us and that they would not be refunding any of our money. We even asked if maybe we could get a credit to come at a later date and stay there instead of a refund (same situation happened to friends of ours and this is what they were able to do) and were told very rudely “No, there is nothing we can do for you”. I will not bring my family here again for any reason. Beautiful river access but there are many other places to stay close by with a much better experience.

Overall, a really good spot. Nice pull thru sites. Great river access. Nice pool and dog park area. Great spot to come trout fishing in the winter. There were only two things that kept us from giving a 5 star review. First, many of the the sites are pretty close together. It’s possible that the premium sites have a bit more space. Second, there are no fire pits or grills. Otherwise, a great spot.

Great pull through sites. Sites are close together, but the amenities make it worth it. Rent a kayak, tube, or enjoy the water or pool. This was a great stop! They do have a dog fee - $10.
