Texarkana KOA Journey

Lotsa nice rv parks close by that r less expensive & nicer! Close to Interstate which makes it convenient. Not well kept. Sites r kinda level. Pine sap drips on your rig & is not easy to remove.

We stayed here for two nights when our truck broke down. I'm surprised KOA allows their brand on this park. It feels very run down, the spots are tiny. It is extremely noisy, being almost literally under an overpass. And it's not that good background traffic noise, it's the kind with truck engines roaring and shifting gears.

In the two days we were there, we got infested with ants. Lots and lots of ants. It took us almost two weeks of poisons and sprays to get rid of them.

First off the campground didn't have any water for the first 2 hours we were there. Secondly, the manager was a creep all he did was drive around and stare at the kids in the pool. He was also extremely rude and condescending to me but was respectful, sort of, to my husband. Won't ever stay there again. One star only because I had to add it.

They have a fenced in area for dogs. Cute. Large grassy area to walk dog on leash. Laundry room open 24 hrs. Very nice. We were not bothered by traffic noise. Friendly staff. Very clean restrooms. I paid $44 for full hook ups.

We stayed here just one night on our way to Dallas and the traffic noise was super loud - even in our well insulated Airstream. We were able to drown some of it out with our fan but there’s no way to eliminate it completely. The sites were nice and paved but the noise will keep us from staying here again.

stayed 1 night, January 14th, on our way to Texas! We were finally able to start the water in Motorhome! Great place! Large mature trees! Big enough to take a nice walk! Great sunset on lot c-27!
