Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 10, 2022We were here to visit brother in law. Close enough to shore to be nice. Lots of trees. Entrance is hard to see. Keep a close eye out or you’ll miss it. We use cricket wireless & had one bar!

We stayed here for a weekend while we were in the area to visit sesame place. Six flags is also nearby. All of the staff were friendly. The guy (assuming hes the owner) that checked us in, escorted us to the site and directed us while we backed in. That was extremely helpful! 5 stars as far as service goes. The campground itself could use some updating in some areas. The playground and mini golf areas were nice. They have quite a few amenities available and a sufficient camp store.
The bathrooms really need some help. Many of the stalls had broken or dirty toilets and it was all out dated and could use some TLC. Another turn off was that most of the campground appears to be full timers or seasonals. We came in April so naturally lots of camps were still closed up but many of them were really old campers and sites that looked SO run down. With a name that includes the word resort, the vibe just does not fit. It was so strange because some of the sites were sooooo nice and really well taken care of. Others were very neglected. Some sites appeared to be used for storage for boats or cars. Some of the seasonals (Im assuming) that were near our site were smoking cigarettes and swearing loudly which wasnt exactly what we were looking for with our toddler around and other families in the area.
Another thing that was disappointing was that our picnic table was broken. One of the benches was completely unattached and the brackets that were under the unattached side were rusty and sharp, making us nervous for our toddler. Were pretty confident staff knew since all of the picnic tables get propped up on the fire pits when the site is ready for check-in. It would be a hard detail to miss.
We were gone from our site for most of the time we were there so none of these things were a huge deal. But if we had booked this with the idea of it being our destination as a resort, we wouldve been disappointed. Nevertheless we may return! We camped at Tip Tam Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed there in our Super C RV. The campground was a big disappointment. Crowded and dusty. Surrounded by the trees, but no grass just dust and dirt. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have a video footage of this campground on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers - Campgrounds in Tennessee and New Jersey We camped at Tip Tam Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
