We reserved a site via phone at the last minute while traveling through Kansas. We spent time earlier hiking at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park north of Garden City and were looking for a place to sleep before heading out to Colorado the next day. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful when taking the reservation. The campground still had a few sites available on a Saturday evening in mid-May. The campground is conveniently located next to the highway and a truck stop, yet we slept well and didn't notice noise.

We stayed one night while traveling north in mid-February. This is a lovely campground with 29 very pleasant sites. The sites are large and well maintained. We will certainly plan to stay longer if we return to the area.

Very pleasant campground and park. There is a wonderful overlook of the Mississippi River. Our site had a new level concrete pad.

We stayed for one night while traveling across Oklahoma. We stayed here 20+ years ago and were looking forward to seeing the area again. We arrived in the late-afternoon just before the last cave tour and were able to park at our site and walk over to take the tour. We camped on a Monday evening and there was only one other RV and a couple of tent campers. The campground was very quiet and peaceful.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed the experience. The Swamp Trail left from the campgrounds and was a pleasant walk. The bathroom facility was amazing and very clean. The sites are nice, though we received rain overnight while we were there and drainage was a bit of an issue.

We enjoyed a couple of nights camping at Lathrop State Park. There was easy access to hiking trails and the park in well maintained. The campground hosts were very pleasant and helpful.

This is a very pleasant Corp of Engineers campground. We are in the lower campground and sites are nicely laid out back into a wooded ravine.

The campground is well maintained and the hosts were helpful & friendly when we checked in.

We stayed one night while visiting friends in McPherson. We were very pleased with the maintenance of the campground, the check-in process, etc. The sites are very convenient for visiting McPherson and are also accessed easily from highways for those traveling through the area.

We camped a couple of nights in early October. We enjoyed hiking the trails within the park and the proximity of Robertsville SP to the trails at Don Roberts SP. Our site was nicely wooded.

We enjoyed a couple of nights camping while visiting family in the area. We first camped at Red Hill SP 50 years ago on our honeymoon and have returned several times over the years. The park had a major investment over the last few years in the roads and parking lots and really looks amazing. The road around the lake offers a really pleasant loop for walking.
