We had reserved the same spot we had last fall and arrived early, our spot was occupied. Since it was raining and it looked like they were not leaving soon, we took a different spot. That was no big deal.
It has been wild and crazy since we got here, lots of shouting, several dogs all howling at once. Even an SUV with children hanging on the running boards driving fast through the campground. Not peaceful and quiet. I don’t think we will be back, we feel we need to chain everything down too since we have seen 4 Sheriffs cars patrol through here in 2 hours.

This park is about a 30 minute drive off the interstate but worth it, like many COE parks they are off the beaten path, but we like that. Nice and quiet with most of the sites well shaded. There is electrical and water only, dump station at the entrance. Getting into and out of the park is a little steep but take it slow and there will be no problems. All sites are concrete and level with concrete patio and picnic benches. The lake has plenty of water activities for all. We were here in August so most of the park was empty and only a few arrived over the weekend Enjoy. #themorgansonthemove

This was our first trip here to this campground. Lots of shade trees and laid out nicely. It is hilly but the spots are level. Thank goodness I have an electric bike...lol.

Busy, noisy highway right beside the campground. The campground was okay, but nowhere near as good as the other COE parks I’ve stayed at.

This is a very pleasant Corp of Engineers campground. We are in the lower campground and sites are nicely laid out back into a wooded ravine.
The campground is well maintained and the hosts were helpful & friendly when we checked in.
