This location is consistent with all campgrounds in the region, a large rocked lot with hook-ups. No shade or grass. Sites are all back-in but there is no barrier between the sites so you can pull-thru if needed. Sites are fairly close together. The only amenity here is a laundry room. There is a steel security fence all around the campground. The location is in a decent residential neighborhood away from the city traffic.

Owners do not live on site but are very friendly and welcoming. They will come to your site after arrival to collect payment. In addition to full-hookups wired internet service is provided which will require a router provided by the campground. (We did not use) Mail/packages are permitted to be delivered here. If your site # is not on the mail/package it will be placed in the laundry room.

The biggest downfall here is the trash dumpsters are all located outside the park at the rear.

The east side of New River Rd. has the largest open areas if you want easy parking but closer neighbors. We stayed NE of New River Rd & Maddock Rd. & found several sites that were more private. The road to our site was rough but easily passible in our DP. Area was very peaceful day & night.

Services, such as groceries, are about a 15 minute drive. We did not need to refill water or dump but several have recommended Orangewood RV Center about 20 minutes away.

We stayed for 1 month while working in the area. Very reasonable monthly cost + electric. Concrete roads & sites as well as gated access. Fed Ex & Amazon will deliver to your site. UPS & USPS deliver to the office.

Sites are close together & the sites on the back side of the lake are tight to back into. All hookups are at the rear of the sites and numerous sites have the hookups on the opposite side so have plenty of sewer hose. The majority of the park is full-time residents. Despite rules requiring sites to be kept up that is sadly not the case with many of them.

Road noise is not bad for the most part considering the location is a suburb of a major city. Noise within the park is quiet. Except for a couple of convenience stores & a Dollar General all services are at least 10-15 minutes away.

As another reviewer pointed out, drainage on the concrete & grass is poor.

The Park is just outside of Big Bend National Park in a remote area of TX. Very few services nearby. Be prepared to pay a much higher price for fuel & limited groceries. The park is still being developed & the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet!! A local group of musicians performed one evening.

At this time the only amenities are a dog park & dump station. Roads & sites are rocked & will improve as the ground settles. We had booked a dry camp site but were upgraded to an electric site with no additional charges. The site is prepped for water & sewer but not hooked up as of yet.

The park is in the open with great views of the night skies. It also allows for some dusty conditions which is very common for this part of the state. Noise levels were not an issue during our stay.

Be aware of the cancellation policy. They use a 3rd part provider for reservations which require payment in full at time of booking. There are NO refunds if cancellation is within 30 days. Not a problem for a single night stay but a much bigger issue if you booked multiple nights.

A family owned park outside the very small community of Wenden, AZ. Gravel roads & sites with full-hookups & a small concrete patio. Pull-thru & back-in sites available and they are HUGE! We had a back-in site for our 45ft DP plus toad & we could have easily parked another 2-4 vehicles. Each site has its own trash container that is emptied once per week.

There are no amenities such as a pool or playgrounds. The park does offer a laundry, community room & restrooms. There is also a large outside gathering area in the center of the park. You may have mail/packages sent here. Come stocked or prepare to travel about 40 miles for the nearest full-service grocery & other services.

Majority of the sites were occupied by seasonal campers who have been coming here for a number of years & they treat each other like family. Each one that we came in contact with were very welcoming.

The park is approximately a 15 minute drive into Waco for any services needed. The local road leading to the park is paved but in POOR condition. Entrance & all roads, including sites, are gravel. We booked online & had no contact with any employees during our stay. If there is an office we didn’t notice it. We did not use any of the amenities.

Appears that sites are occupied by full-timers. Another individual told us that only 3 sites are available as the rest are permanently spoken for. Sites were fairly level & plenty wide. Our 45’ Class A had plenty of room but if we were just an overnight stop we would have had to disconnect our toad. There was a single trash can behind our site that overflowed for a couple of days before it was emptied.

The area is quiet but as one reviewer noted, there is a rocket test facility nearby. Trust me when I say you’ll know it when you hear it! Not an attractive area but this was not an issue for us.

Newer campground with paved roads & sites. Majority of sites are pull-thru with some back-in.
There is adequate space between sites but disappointed how un-level they were for being paved. We stayed on a weekly rate which includes the 7th night free.

Views are excellent & park is far enough away from I-15 not to cause any noise issues but it does run parallel to the state highway which can be noisy.

Mail/packages are allowed to be sent here however, be aware USPS does NOT deliver here as the park has a PO box. You must pick up your items at the PO in Nephi which is only a few minutes away.

A number of services are available in Nephi including a Pilot & Maverick. There is a cafe located on-site that is open for breakfast/lunch with the exception of Sunday’s.

The park has an overall rating of 4-stars but it appears the higher reviews came from several years ago. I believe there was an ownership change since then. Our biggest complaint is the park needs some TLC. While the pool area is fairly new & large, a lot of the sites are in poor condition. Our site had the sewer hookup located at the very rear of the site resulting in multiple sections of hose to reach it. The opening was also at an awkward angle & encased in cement which made getting the elbow installed difficult. Our site also was a combination of rock, weeds & dirt which turned into mud after a night of rain. We were also locate right next to the road with little room to setup outside of our door. Our section was far enough into the park to not be affected by the noise from I-80.

There are no signs to navigate around the park & the site numbers on the electrical boxes, while large & easy to read, do NOT match what is on the map that is provided at the self-check-in. The map also indicates a food truck but when we asked what the schedule was we were told there is no food truck - the map is out of date. There are branches that need to be trimmed in the C section to avoid larger rigs. The grass around the park was several inches high & even higher around areas that need a string trimmer.

There are several dilapidated structures & just a general poor appearance of the property. This is a family-friendly park & it was very busy over the weekend, much quieter after Sunday check-out time.

Coalville, UT is just across the interstate but there are very few services.

This campground is located on an Indian reservation outside of Fredonia, AZ. There is a convenience store just outside the entrance, (NOT 24-hours) otherwise closest services are in Kanab, UT about 20 minutes away.

Sites are full-hookup, pull-thru & large. No grass, everything is gravel. Sites are level. EXCELLENT price for site/amenities!

Staff is friendly & you are allowed to have mail/packages sent here. Nice walking trail going towards the convenience store as well as the opposite direction. StarLink worked well & the campground itself has no obstructions.

There is a mobile detail service based out of Kanab, UT that is allowed to wash inside the park. He has his own water/power & did a great job for a reasonable price.

Overall, a nice place to stay for 2 weeks. Large park with mostly large pull-thru sites. Sites along the north & south borders are back-in & are smaller. Our site was completely level but it was very obvious that not all sites are even close to being level. All sites are gravel.

Staff takes great care to make sure the site is ready for a new occupant - even raking the gravel prior to your arrival as well as cleaning out the fire pit. Each site has a small concrete patio with a small picnic table in addition to full-hookups.

Packages/mail are allowed to be sent to the campground, even prior to your arrival. The only amenity we used was the laundry to do some larger items. Room is large with 5 washers & 6 dryers. Machines only take quarters & there is no change machine on-site. You can obtain change from the office but weekend hours are 10-2. Park offers daily valet trash as well as valet propane fills.

The biggest drawbacks to the park are the extremely close sites & the poor position of the sewer hookup. After positioning our rig to avoid a tree & still be able to deploy our awning we had to use multiple sewer hoses to reach the hookup. And, the sewer hookup are within 2ft of your neighbors patio/picnic table. I’ve included photos to show these drawbacks.
