Really nice park and staff. Hookups were great. Laundry facilities great. Excellent location for visiting Pipespring National Monument. Gas and convenience store very close.
Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: the placement of hookups relative to parking position is poor. I had to disconnect and park behind my trailer in order to be hooked up and completely on my site. Wifi is poor. It looks like the park is setup well with repeaters but the source is poor. Looks to be direct TV satellite as a source. Even in the wee hours of the night, couldn't reasonably use Facebook and Twitter. Transfer rate (if possible to get a test signal) was 1.5Mbps.
Not a fault of the park, but Verizon service is also very weak. T-Mobile non-existant for data.

This was our second time staying at this rest area. The layout is great. It's far enough away from the highway to be quiet. Trucks are in a separate area. Dump station on site. Lots of space and flat.
Small family-run RV park. Full hookups. Nice owners are on site and greet you upon arrival. The entrance driveway is gated and locked (they give you a key). The mission trail is nearly within walking distance from the RV park and one of the missions is the same. Downtown SA (Riverwalk) is maybe a 20-minute drive with light traffic.

$20 for full hookups and last minute, yes please. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because there's not enough room to stay hitched overnight.

I tried to make a reservation about 6 months in advance here. I called and was told that they only take reservations 1 month in advance. I was skeptical, but OK, maybe they aren't so popular. So today was 1 month in advance. I called, and what do you know, no availability. So now I've got to scramble and find something else.
The explanation (which would have been helpful 6 months ago) is that priority is given to long-term tenants and veterans (all well and good). What the office doesn't tell you is that many of the sites are long-term-ers and they can renew month-by-month. So it can be that no one leaves a full park in a given month.
To be clear, I'm not upset with this policy; the campground just should elaborate on the background and conditions instead of just saying, "call back when it's one month in advance" and then you do, and they don't have any sites available because low turnover and a full park which they know well about.
Seems to be free all the time now. No sign asking to pay and not locked. Excellent position parallel to the car wash.
This is an SKP/Escapee member-only park. As such, you pay a great low rate for an excellent campsite and a well-maintained campground. Strong 50A, water, sewer, cable, wifi, and a patio are at every site. The entire park is built into a hillside and offers great views. Access from CA-41 is easy. Oakhurst is the nearest larger town. Yosemite NP south entrance is about an hour away. Definitely worth a stop of you're an SKP.

Overall, good campground. The Bryce NP shuttle stops right at the campground.
Park wise, I can't speak for the wifi. Cellular coverage was good so I didn't use the wifi. Some sites (mine) are recently leveled via large amounts of backfill. While this makes for a nice level site, one now has to climb up and down a loose gravel embankment to reach hookups. It makes dumping easy though 😀.
Location and full hookups are the real benefit of this park.

A favorite stop of my family in the area. A bonus if you can stop during orange harvest season. There is constant train noise. If you happen to be on the north end of the transient sites, there is an area that makes a lot of noise as well doing I don't know what, but makes it not enjoyable to sit outside and talk. But overall, a great place to stay.

This is the third or fourth time staying here. You get the KOA experience and you're right next to an old-type casino (which I like). The place is safe with nighttime security. Nice pool. Good laundry facility. Strong electric hookup for all-day A/C running.
The only downside is sardine-can parking and the pull-in sites that are opposite the back-in sites. In other words, the door side of your RV is always going to face the door side of the RV next to you. Utility posts are common on the other side. It makes you be social with your neighbor whether you like it or not.
