Sunrise RV Park

We ended up in Dening due to high winds on the highway. While many places prices were off the roof for what they offer, this place was a fair price.
The manager “Wayne” is awesome, the residents are very helpful and courteous and above all, the lots are wide enough to fit our rig and a truck right beside it.

We will stop by here again without a doubt.

We had called a few weeks ahead of time to see if we could reserve a spot. The kind gentleman on the phone said we could just pull in and pick a spot when we arrived, no need for a reservation as most of the winter visitors were pulling out. We had planned on just an overnight stay and had no idea when we would get in.

We left Arizona late and knew we wouldn't get to Demming until 9ish so we called ahead. The office was closed but the same nice gentleman answered the phone to let us know that we could pull in and settle up in the morning. We did just that, when we got in there was a place up front which was perfect. In the morning we were able to settle up and left with no issue. This was great for our overnight stop in and very affordable for an overnight stay with hookups.

Headed to Deming to see some friends, we stopped at Sunrise due to good reviews. The manager, an older guy was great. Very kind and friendly. Most of sites appear to be long term permanent and we were put in row that was half empty. Shower house had hot showers but only the women’s side appeared open. You could lock the door to the entire women's showers , (3 or 4 of them) so my husband and I showered at same time.
Park very quiet. No real road noise. Only saw one or two residents.

When you're just driving thru, this is a great place. Sites are level, clean and everything is orderly. There are mostly full timers living here but they are very nice and happy to stop and talk while walking their dogs. If the office is open go in and pay the $20 per night, otherwise slip it into the box right there by the office. Just come in a pick a site. FHU, can't be beat.

I would highly recommend Sunrise RV. They very friendly and hospitable. We would stay here again.

We only stayed one night while traveling I-10. Nice employees, clean laundry room with new washers and dryers, flat gravel pull thru site with full hookups (the electric pedestals look new and checked out ok by our surge suppressor). Quiet neighbors but I did hear a train and a little highway noise. The sites aren’t fancy but it’s perfect for a night or two.

This is a very easy park to access from the I10. We arrived late. Paid with the late box. This park has nice wide pull through sites with easy exits. The diner in the back of the park has great food and friendly staff.

This RV park was a late decision overnight start for us. It was easy to get in with our fifth wheel and Dually truck. Hook ups were easy. It did freeze overnight which was a challenge but it was our fault that anything froze. The office staff are very friendly. We paid at the late arrival kiosk. The diner around the back had a limited selection but wonderful food. We will definitely stop again.

Wayne is the perfect Host with the most! 87 years young and he does a great job keeping the park up! We needed a one night stay and for $20 you can’t beat it in the middle of nowhere! It might look a little rough but seriously it’s a gem! A lot of friendly full-timers! The restaurant/bar behind the park is great! They had a taco truck in and it was delicious! We’ll stop again if coming through!
