What do I like better than a level site? A level concrete site with utilities that all work which are located in a normal spot, space from your neighbor, and waterfront is a plus too.

This is a good little fam camp with minimal frills, but was our favorite we've stayed at. They were about halfway through replacing all the gravel pads with concrete, a welcome investment. It's right by the flight line, so plane noise is a certainty, but they're prop driven so not too bad. Also, if you need groceries while you're here, the commissary is larger and better than you'd think it'd be for a base this size.

45 minutes to Kennedy Space Center, 25 minutes to Cocoa Beach. It's not the most convenient, but the drive to the tourust sites isn't bad at all.

Keep an eye on the water, you might get to watch some bottlenose dolphins feeding right about 7PM. We got to see them each night we were there.

We got a Deluxe Site at this park, and would have honestly rather have had a basic site. The deluxe got you a pergola behind your RV, in a location that isn't very useful, and keeps you from being able to back fully into your site. Additionally, this meant that all the utilities, including sewer, were about ten feet behind the back of your RV, making use of every foot of extension sewer hose you can muster. Don't spend extra on the deluxe site, just book a basic.
The pool was nice, and the clubhouse was impressive. Everything on the grounds was kept immaculate. Kayaks and SUPs were available for rent. The dog run was an empty drainage pond which was disappointing. The park has nothing to break the noise of highway 1, so if there's traffic you hear it, if there's sirens you hear it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

We enjoyed staying here, the spots are perfect, nicely shaded and extremely level. Having said that, you are located across the street from the flight line on an active military base and those folks gotta fly, so you WILL hear jets at all hours.

This park was in a convenient location, which unfortunately means that the road noise from the main road it's located on is pretty loud. Also, if you will be turning left into the park, you will be making an unprotected left across that main road, because there is no light. It seems like about 75% of the people in the park are living here full time, but all of their sites seem well kept. The sites are pretty level, we only took half an inch side to side to get level. Make sure you have at least 20ft of sewer hose, all the utilities are well behind your rig. For the price, I would have expected complementary park wifi, but that costs additional.

I was debating on writing this review because several of the sites looked quite good. Ours was not.

Our site was broadside to the main road, which is unfortunate but not a deal breaker in itself but did mean that we had very little privacy and had a lot of noise. This site was the most unlevel site we have stayed in. Finally, the power at the pedestal would shut off and come back on randomly, becoming so bad during our final night that after it had done it about 30 times, we disconnected from shore power completely for the rest of our stay.

Perfect little campsite, if you're going back and forth to the tourist parts of Savannah, budget a bit of extra time to go back and forth. Dark and quiet at night. Bring your leveling gear and the sites will serve you perfectly. Make sure you check out the gift shop on your way out.
