Sun Outdoors Islamorada

We got a Deluxe Site at this park, and would have honestly rather have had a basic site. The deluxe got you a pergola behind your RV, in a location that isn't very useful, and keeps you from being able to back fully into your site. Additionally, this meant that all the utilities, including sewer, were about ten feet behind the back of your RV, making use of every foot of extension sewer hose you can muster. Don't spend extra on the deluxe site, just book a basic.
The pool was nice, and the clubhouse was impressive. Everything on the grounds was kept immaculate. Kayaks and SUPs were available for rent. The dog run was an empty drainage pond which was disappointing. The park has nothing to break the noise of highway 1, so if there's traffic you hear it, if there's sirens you hear it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Very clean, nice new landscaping with great pavers for driving and parking on. Loved it, but pretty pricey. Beach is still a mess because of the last hurricane. Road noise is about a 9 out of 10 for being annoying, especially the Harleys going by.
