We found this State Park on Campendium and as a result of the reviews we decided to stop as we pass through the area. The sites in these few loops were awesome!! We have a 45' toyhauler and had no issues back in into our site and even have enough room to leave the 5th wheel hooked to the truck overnight. There was plenty of room around the picnic table and fire ring. Our site was crushed gravel and they were angled for easy in/out of the site. 50AMP service!! and water. Dump station available as you drive out. Love to come back and spend a few days - fantastic peaceful camping in the woods!

We decided to try this RV park based on location as well as Campendium ratings from other campers. I thought there was a lot of potential for this campground. The location is fantastic for overnighters. The dog park, well the fenced in area with astro turf is a good start but would be nice to see some real grass. Grass was something that this park has little of - although there was one area that had dog bags and grass which wasn't far from our site. The sites are HUGE no doubt and would fit ANY SIZE rig for sure. Full hookup along with a speedy WiFI which we were able to utilize to stream some TV! The folks greeted us and were fantastic - our site that we booked was taken by another camper but they found us another site (although not as nice) but was fine for our overnight in the wide open. I think the price is a bit steep for where the construction of this campground is.. like to have seen it under 50.00 and then bring it up once the pool and other amenities are in place.

On our way home we decided to give this new resort a try.

Booking: Super easy, you can view the map and see what sites are available. Simple. Although you can book a particular site you are not guaranteed it. 55+ Resort.

Check-In: Checking into the resort was simple, they provide a key fob and code for the entry gate along with a packet of information on the resort and surrounding areas.

Site setup: We were escorted to our site, shown the pedestal 50/30 cable, water and sewer. Offered assistance with backing into site but was no necessary. All sites are pavers, the pedestal/sewer side has crushed shell and there is real grass as well. Sites are super wide, they could fit two rvs in one site they are so wide (although you can not double up. You can store your trailer or boat next to your RV. The palm trees and shrubbery are newly planted so there is NO SHADE WHAT SO EVER. Be careful to not book sites against Route 41 - lots of highway noise.

Plenty of amenities - pool, pickleball etc. As of today, they do not have a liquor license so it is bring your own.

All in all, really nice vibe at this resort. Would I come back again? Love to but the cost is way too high. At almost $200 per night I would stay stay at Disney Fort Wilderness.

Just because it has water/sewer/electric doesn't mean it is an RV park. This was a gravel pit. I wish I had walked to our site PRIOR to paying for the 4 nights. We were parked right next to several RVs that were stationary - one trailer looked like it had been there all winter with the insulation boards around the bottom, the other trailer was someone who i think lived on the property as he was working on his vehicles. Behind us looked like a mud pit where they were possibly almost done with putting in the sites? No idea. You had no room for a outdoor rug, chair or even small table to grill on the side of your trailer. It was like being in a construction zone where the construction workers gave up! Some of the other sites on the other end looked like they had a bit more room on the side. The grass is overgrown between the sites - honestly, this looks like they threw a bunch of dirt/gravel and made small driveways to park. They said they had WIFI - but it was horribly slow. What a shame, with a little bit of effort and repositioning.rebuilding the sites this could be something. We were planning to leave early - but stuck it out as there was no refund of the money paid.

As for convenience, this was a great location. Honestly, there is so much BLM land around along with other smaller campgrounds that are less expensive and in better shape.

Super disappointed.

We had high hopes for this park but were not impressed. The positives are that it is super clean, they are building more amenities (lazy river/pool) and everything is new. The negatives are that this is a parking lot - you are on top of your neighbor regardless of where your site is. The campground WIFI was horrible which is surprising since the park is so new you would think they would have the latest technology. The rubbish trucks pull into the campground at 6:30am and start emptying (LOUD BANGING) the large dumpsters. The fire pit was next to sewer of your neighbor. This site was tight for a 45' fifth week due to the angle of the site and the closeness to the next row of sites - but we managed. The sites have concrete, large stone at the pedestal - they were fine - it was just the layout of this campground. This will be our last visit for sure.

First visit to Acadia Seashore Camping and Cabins. When booking the site, it was clear that the owners had rules and the rules were to be followed. The owners were super friendly, rules were to enhance the camping experience (all outside lights, radios, tvs off at 9';30pm) so you can enjoy the peaceful beautiful night sky that was jam packed with stars - georgous. The site was gravel and you were angled in so everyone would have a view of the water from the front portion of the site at least on the sites in this row. If you have a smaller camper and parked next to someone with a large trailer or motorhome you may be very disappointed that your view could be easily blocked. The campground is super neat, clean and well maintained. This site was 30amp and water only which wasn't an issue for us with a inverter that could supplement any energy needs we may have. They do have a honey wagon for $10.00 and will pump you out or you can dump when you leave at the dump station. We had AT&T cellular connectivity for streaming and had Verizon wireless on our cells - no issue with service. We were about 45 mins to 1 hour to bar harbor stores. Hopefully we can return again next year!

We were so excited to come to this RV Resort. Disappointed is the word. This is a brand new campground with beautiful grounds leading up to the campground. The campground is ruined by how close each site is to your neighbor. There are only a few sites (22, 21) where you have some level of privacy. We pulled into a site that was never cleaned - actually I never saw ANY cleaning happening at all. We saw folks leave and then new campers arrive without anything being touched. Our fire pit had 1/2 burnt logs in it and our site grill still had old burnt ashes in it. Had they spaced out the sites - this could have been wonderful. Internet was horrible but thankfully cellular coverage was strong so we used our hotspots. These sites all have 50AMP, Water, Sewer, Cable.... Cable was horrible as well - we used our TV antenna and had more channels. All in all - I give this campground a 2 out of 5 rating and that is being generous. Won't stay again!!!

Resort? not sure. Not exactly what we expected. We had a great spot that was an end site pull through. The site was unlevel so much that we had to unhook to get the toyhauler leveled properly. The picnic table was completely unusable due to the peeling paint and rotten wood boards - NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT in a resort. The sites have grass coming up through the gravel. The roads are torn up a bit - all in all the campground we had high expectations but see that the owners are letting it run down. Found it odd that you are to find your own site (they provide a map with arrows) but coming in after a long day of travel it would be nice to have an escort to the site. Because we were only overnight we did not have a chance to see the activities or enter any of the buildings - just walked around. Won't be back.

Pine sap... plenty of it. The resort is beautiful and love being in the woods but without the pines. We had pine sap over EVERYTHING. We had to get our dog booties to wear because the sap would get on her paws and she would pick up rocks between her pads and started to limp. The pet store in town had rubber slip on booties which saved us. To get to the site, the turn getting to the sites in the 165 area are tight... honestly too tight for big rigs and I won't be back because of it. Awesome that each site has their own waste barrel that the crew comes by and empties daily.

We will be spending the next 2 weeks trying to get the sap off our RV and Truck. NEVER again amongst the pines. I marked the site quality just because of the pines - not the fault of the resort...

This campground is just off route 70. The pull throughs are easy to get in and out of. Plenty of grass to walk the dog, pond for fishing (didn't fish). Get some road noise but that is to be expected. Heard nothing when inside the RV. Water, sewer and electric (50 amps). Didn't use any of the facilities. Great for an overnight stop.
