Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on November 01, 2023We stayed overnight driving from CO to Boston. We made a reservation the same day. The owner Barb was friendly and accommodating. The campground has many large trees for shade, a nice pond with a trail around for walking my dog after all day driving. Clean bathroom with hot showers. There is rt 70 and a train track near by but it was hardly noticeable at night. We would definitely stay here again.

A very well kept campground near the highway. Good for one night stop. They have level pull thru sites set aside for overnight guests. Nice walking area around a central pond, fishing is okay, and a pool is available. All in all a good stop

This campground is just off route 70. The pull throughs are easy to get in and out of. Plenty of grass to walk the dog, pond for fishing (didn't fish). Get some road noise but that is to be expected. Heard nothing when inside the RV. Water, sewer and electric (50 amps). Didn't use any of the facilities. Great for an overnight stop.

I always stay here when traveling south for the winter or returning home in the spring. The owners are lovely, the gift shop is fun, and the grounds are pleasant. Easy in, easy out, with great hookups that work no matter the season. I look forward to my stays here!

Okaw Vally Kampground is conveniently located right off I-70. Check-in was easy and the woman that helped us was friendly. Navigating to our site from the office took some maneuvering because apparently the normal way to our site was being blocked by two big rigs who had their satellite dishes out in the road in order to get better signal.
We stayed in the partial hookups section and our site was a long gravel pull-through. This was nice because we didn't have to un-hitch since we were only staying for one night.
The noise from the interstate didn't bother us, though it was audible. Overall, Okaw is a fine choice for an overnight.

As full timers returning north for the first time in a couple years we headed out a bit early. One of the few spots open and had full hook ups. Extremely nice owners, decent spots, not fancy but functional and not on top of each other. Laundry is in a basement and could use an update but it looks like the new owners are really working at updating and improving the park. Advantage: full hook up available early in the year and easy access to highway. Would recommend for anyone heading north early or during the summer I bet it is really nice.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed ourselves. Nice park under new management. Barb and her husband (can't remember his name) are doing a great job cleaning up this RV park after buying a few years ago. The previous owner was suffering from health issues and let it get run down.
The sites are level and have a shade tree and grass. There are a variety to services depending on what you are looking for or need. We had a FHU pull-thru. No cable and the WiFi is a bit weak, but pretty good Verizon cell coverage. There's a nice pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) and a play ground. There's also on pond on-site that is stocked with bass and catfish - free to guest of the campground.
Easy access to I-70.

Called the same morning for a reservation 👍. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Had no issues with supplying a site for our school bus conversion. Laundry facilities were old but clean.

We stayed 2 nights in November 2020, and again 2 nights the end of April, 2021.
the grounds are shaded and the sites level. All the hookups work. Maybe the pool is nice? it's been closed when we stopped.
$40 is too much for this camp. Maybe when they finish overhauling it.
The laundry is no longer functional. 3x3, with washers that don't spin well, and one drying not working. Don't plan on doing laundry here. Most of the grounds are well kept. It is a great spot for children to play. It's just far enough from the highway to be quiet, and though the train passes nearby, there's no grade crossings, so no horn blasting you awake all night.
