It’s about 11 miles from Baker. I stayed four days. There were no people for miles and miles until the third day.
Quite, peaceful, beautiful views, awesome sunsets.
Place was clean and it must have rained because I did not encounter any soft spots, which upon entering the turn out, thought there would be.
My site was close to the highway, but very few cars. I could have stayed for another four days really.
It’s very uneven, bumpy, etc, etc. but who cares when you have levelers and serene peace and quite.
Perfect spot.

As others have stated, the first half of the road is rutted, mid-size bumps, kind of soft. Then once your on the road to the campground, it’s a bit washboard. But nothing a rig can’t handle.
I stayed at the large gravel area next to the pit toilets. It was empty save me and the wildlife. Very quite and serene. The sky at night is awash with stars.
Unfortunately, there is no water left in the streams or small lake as far as I can see. Just dried weeds. Seems to be norm these days.

Two things first:
1:This “is” a permit site. It’s on Arizona Trust Land and your have to purchase a permit. It’s good for one year and it’s 15.00 for a single person or 20.00 for two or more. Other reviews on here say it’s free or nothing about it, so I thought was free and found out the hard way. The sign has been knocked down.
2: Really pay attention to the GPS, because you will not see the entrance until your right up on it and have to turn very quickly making people behind you “not very happy”
This is a perfect place if you want to stay in between Parker and Lake Havasu City. The views are beautiful (except the big power lines)
Hiking and off road trails
Great cell coverage with both Verizon and ATT

It is by far the best place I have Boondocked. It’s shields you from the road noise and wind as it is behind big rocks. No one around for miles for three out of the four days I was there.
It’s in a canyon, and apparently it goes quite away up, however, this is not for 2wd. The one other camper got stuck and they had a van. You need 4wd.
There are three turn outs right up against the cliff rocks.
You probably could go further up the canyon but because of the soft sand, I stayed close to the entrance. If you don’t want a ton of people or noise from the constant ATVs. this little hidden gem is the place to be. Plenty of hiking trails. Excellent Verizon coverage, not so much ATT

Thought I would give an updated review.
I sometimes find things have changed from the last review, so I was skeptical if this gas station dump was still free. It is and they have a wide area so you can maneuver around.
It is higher than a regular Rv black tank pipe, but it’s wasn’t an issue for me.

They let you stay up to 3 nights. You have to go in and they fill out a permit for you. They have a designated place for Rv’s and trailers.
I never went in to the casino itself, but they do have a restaurant.
Pretty quite, I had to park under some really bright lights, but I use a face mask to sleep so it didn’t bother me.
Overall it’s good.

Just spent four days here, I drove about 2 miles beyond the moonrocks. I can’t say what it’s like right at the rocks or entrance..This place is for bikers and quads, so if your looking for quite on a weekend, you may want to steer clear. . I have read reviews about this place being a garbage dump. There is only one big open spot about a mile in that does looking like a dumping station, other than that just fire rings. My site was large and no garbage
The first day was full of dirt bikes, but the other days were fairly quite. Probably due to the weather. There are a lot of spaces to stay. Just, be careful of soft sand, especially if you have a low or heavy rig. I had to put my truck in four wheel at one point, but due to rain going out was a breeze. If you want wide open spaces and free, this place is great

I picked this because the rate was cheaper than other RV parks.
For the price it was great. FHU. No frills or thrills. The manger was nice and the maintenance guy helped me back up because the spaces are really tight.
It’s not the quietest place day or night, but it is a long term mobile home site.
I had to keep extending my days and the manager was very nice about.
The regular people who live here are nice as well. Offering to help and such.
Overall happy with my stay

This is rare gem. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, Lovelock (small town)is about 22
miles away. The sites are well kept, bathrooms are clean and the shower is amazing.
You can pick from upper or lower campground. Upper is just gravel with metal roof shade cover with picnic table. Lower has shade trees, a small (almost dried up) river. It has a few electrical hookups, but most are no hookups. Plenty of water faucets interspersed around the campground. As well as wild turkeys and antelope occasionally walking around.
There is hiking, biking and with the reservoir within walking distance there is fishing. About 10 different species . Also boating and kayaking. The landscape is kind of blah, but it’s the peace and quite that did it for me.
Sadly, like everywhere in the US, the reservoir and river are way, way down.
NOTE: no Verizon cell service, 1 bar for T mobile
I am definitely putting this on my list for future stays.

I stayed here three days. I got there early and was lucky enough to find a site that is closest to the beach. Great views. Place was very quite (occasional generator, but didn’t bother me), clean, level spots. I didn’t use the restroom as I have a self contained. From what i read there is no showers. Dump station was next to exist. Plenty of places to walk the dogs.
This is definitely on my list to stay again.
