We've never been to a chuckwagon type dinner before so we didn't know what to expect. The food was decent, the system they use to get you through the line was great! Just remember.... keep moving! 😆 There was a little more wait time between the dinner and the show than I'd like but the show was very good! It was a very family friendly show with some comedy, some great songs from many eras and not just country! The teens even loved it!

The owner was so pleasant and sweet! We were able to pay with a credit card unlike some earlier reviews, with a small fee added on which I was happy to do! Neat old buildings but many weren't probing, as they were new lumber. But it was great to see what a little town would have looked like back then. For only $6 a person.... it's worth it. It's sad to see things deteriorating so much. 😥 but the actual restrooms there (not the old outhouses 😆) were really really nice my husband and son said! I would still recommend it but just know it's not all original or all period items.

40 some flavors.... Biggest cone you'll ever try and eat! 😆 Whenever we take our teens to Stillwater, they always ask to go to Nelson's! Be prepared for a line in the summer at peek times but they're quick with several employees helping! The bigger the cup or cone, the more ice cream you'll get! But for the same price as those who skimp! No skimping here! Don't expect to stay clean! They have a sink and rag outside for you to clean up your mess so you're not embarrassed that you couldn't eat a cone without making a mess! 🤣 Great customer service and always amazing cones!

This is not the place to go to be one with nature. 😆 But if you want an awesome water park.... this is it! This is our 3rd time back and probably last, as our kids are getting older now. Great place to be though for kid friendly fun and on a holiday weekend... it is PACKED but the ⛱ still has space!

If you are a rock hound, you NEED to stop here! We happened upon this place going up to Copper Harbor.... looking for cool places to stop along the way. I'm not a rock hound but I do appreciate a pretty rock! Lol The kids thought it would be cool so my husband went in with the kids and I stayed in the car until they came out and told me YOU HAVE TO COME CHECK IT OUT MOM! And They had Yooperlites which we had been hunting for the night before! Well..... I was even impressed! There were rocks on rocks on rocks! On shelves, in piles, in bins, in crates! Every kind of rock your ❤ desires! Definitely a sight to see and worth the stop! The owners were very sweet and helpful!

Not a lot to see here BUT you can see it from the street and pull off on the shoulder or you can walk down to get closer. This falls is falling away from the bridge so from the bridge you see the top, not the face of it.

Cute little town! Very cool to see the old buildings that used to be the happening place back when it was a booming town. So sad to see all the closed businesses in the area but definitely worth the drive through town. I wanted to get more photos but the fog was horrible and it was raining. 😥

So much to see here! This was our film in adventure after getting to our campsite. We only had a few hours that night. They were very nice and helpful at the visitor center! Pd our $9 for our day pass and got our plan and walked out to.... rain. 😲 it was a quick rain so we continued on. We went to an old mining area where they used to mine copper and silver- foundations of buildings, and the river you can walk up on the side. Cool waterfall, rock formations etc but OMG!!! DON'T GO WITHOUT BUG REPELLANT!! They were HORRENDOUS! we made this a quick 1.5 mile walk and then went onto the waterfalls about 20 miles away as you continue on the road to the end. This was MUCH MORE enjoyable! Dry ground, a little bay on lake superior, everyone skipped rocks, tons of cool rocks and driftwood washed ashore. Very few mosquitos and nice walked paths with a suspension bridge, and wood walking path along the edge of the river.
