Didn’t know this campground was in the Big South Fork NP.
The area is beautiful.
This camp ground would shine if the road leading to it was paved and the park roads paved.
The camp host were really nice. He kept the sites supplied with firewood.
Lots of hiking and horse trails.
People come from many states with their horses.
Cell service was non existent and no over the air TV channels.
There is free Wifi at the restrooms.
The restrooms had showers but outdated.
I would have given 5 stars except for roads and dump station that overflowed.

Pros: Clubhouse, pool, laundry, showers, cabins, Teepees, tent area some sites with level concrete patios. Wifi worked great.
Cons: Water pressure low had to use onboard pump, sites on hill are unlevel. Call and request sites with concrete pads if not you are assigned a spot.
Other: People walking through campsite and barking dogs. Had to place picnic table across camp to block foot traffic. Also bring 20 foot of sewer hose.
Overall: Nice resort. Should improve in next two years with improvements.

Wanted to get out of house during virus. Park was open. State park across street was closed.
Nice park. Clean restrooms didn’t use them. Store onsite looked good didn’t use.
Large sites mostly shady.
Only complaints would be some street noise during day and sites could use a little more gravel to keep down the mud areas.
Also bring 50 amp bone for 30 amp rigs.

Cons: Sites need gravel. Grass should be graveled if not irrigated. A little noisy. Pool closed? Water pressure low.
Pros: Wifi worked good. Good for overnight stay before heading over mountain.
Hwy 16 is well paved. Grades not that scary at all. Beautiful drive to Ten Sleep.
Other: If doing the Crazy Woman Canyon rent an ATV. The road in the canyon is almost one lane. Museum in Buffalo and Big Horn were great. Take the Briton home tour at the museum.
Nice dry camping areas just up Hwy 16 from Buffalo.

Had to find a spot after failing to get into Lake Powhatan.

This park is probably the best one in Maggie Valley but not my cup of tea.

Too many loud cycles on the road and loud children.

Suppose to be a 55+ park.

Wifi worked maybe 80% of time.

Well maintained park. Grass watered nightly. Led to site. A little dusty. A little more gravel or pavement in dusty areas would fix.
Site 50 was very nice. It is the wider sites. The others are too narrow for me.
I also like the slat fence for privacy. Other campgrounds should adopt the slat fence.
Many elk in the area. One walked right into our campsite. Just stay your distance and they are fun to watch.
Suggest also a few more trees for shade in summer.

Nice park but built backwards.

All sites the front door face west. Even the awning didn’t help. They also didn’t put in irrigation. Grass was dying and brown. Heat wave partly to cause I guess.
A water feature for the kids would be nice.

Roku stick didn’t work at all with wifi. IPad worked🤔

There is train noise and some highway noise but livable.

Great location. Walk to tubing and town. Gas prices super high in WG.

Columbia had best prices and food.

This park is definitely better than KOA in St. Mary

The West Glacier KOA is very nice and has a pool. More pricey.

Agree with many of the observations below.

Wifi worked great.

My only complaint is the barking dogs.. Almost constant. Drives you crazy when they are only feet away and the owners don’t give a crap.

Board them, babysit or have a friend keep them.

Buy a muzzle.

By the way I love dogs. Just not the constant barking.
