Old Mill Camp is a family-owned and operated business established in 2017. It's located directly across from the entrance of Cummins Falls State Park in Jackson County Tennessee. Our goal is to provide an exceptional camping experience for our guests in hopes they make memories they will cherish for a lifetime. Located at 4801 Blackburn Fork Road in Cookeville Tennessee is Old Mill Camp. The campground offers pull-through sites (ranging from 130 ft to 150 ft) and back-in sites (ranging from 65 ft to 100 ft). All RV sites are equipped with sewer hook up, 50 amp service only (if your RV is 30 amp, you must bring a 50 to 30 amp adapter), free wifi, water hydrant, cooking grill, fire pit, and picnic table. Conveniently located at the campground is Old Mill Camp General Store. You will feel like you are stepping back in time once you arrive at Old Mill Camp General Store. From the oldies music playing outside, the jukebox playing old tunes inside, hand-scooped ice cream, bologna, and cracker sandwiches, and the hospitality of the staff, you will love the quiet atmosphere. There are many local old-timers who sit on the front porch whittling and reminiscing about good times. You can purchase Cummins Falls memorabilia inside as well as inquire about other local state parks and area attractions.

This was one of the nicest campgrounds I’ve visited. The staff is very friendly and the park was in excellent shape. The music is great and they make an excellent root beer float. You won’t be disappointed.

we were there dec. 22nd to dec. 29th 2018 according to the web site. its 200 dollars a week for a back in, 250 dollars for a pull through. we took the back in and it still cost 225.00 bucks, they have a 6.00 service charge for i don't know what. we have never had that and we have been camping along time???? all the facilities were closed and we still had to pay full price. they did have FHU. but the bathrooms, showers and laundry mat was closed and they still charged full price. then a camper pulled into the pull through by us. talked to him he paid 193.00 for a week. he was pissed to. but he paid less then we did. my wife talked to the owner and she did say that was wrong and she would look into it. but never got back to us. Wi-Fi was good most of the time. only 5 channels on the air tv. our dish had problems connecting to the satellite most of the time lots of trees and stuff. during the summer with the bathrooms, laundry etc, working, they might have a good price, but for winter and when there's nobody there, way to expensive. we will never stay there again.

We knew we wanted to visit Cummins Falls, but did not know what a gem the campground right outside of the park would be. Awesome location right across from Cummins Falls. Great pull through site. Best of all - the cutest country store with homemade sourdough sandwiches, delicious ice cream, and all kinds of wonderful goodies. We visited in June 2018. We wished we would have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Pros:
Shady, level lots. All sites large with space between campers. Large pull-through sites. Clean picnic tables. Fire rings. Cute store with basic needs and fun items. Store has great sandwiches (fresh ingredients, made to order) and quality hand-dipped ice cream. Owners are super-friendly (family owned campground). The restrooms and showers are immaculate (I am very picky) and good water pressure. Easy to get to off I-40.
Cons (subjective):
Gravel roads and pads: my kids really like paved/concrete for bike riding.
We will return. Great place.
PS: I was able to work while there using hotspot on my Verizon cell phone. My husband used his phone (ATT) via the camp wifi which worked well.

Wanted to get out of house during virus. Park was open. State park across street was closed.
Nice park. Clean restrooms didn’t use them. Store onsite looked good didn’t use.
Large sites mostly shady.
Only complaints would be some street noise during day and sites could use a little more gravel to keep down the mud areas.
Also bring 50 amp bone for 30 amp rigs.

We had back in site #3. It was ever so slightly inclined but we were able to get level. Beautifully landscaped and maintained campground, nicest people working the front desk/general store as well.
The state park across the road (Cummins Falls) was still closed during our stay so we drove about 30 minutes to Burgess Falls State Park and had a nice short hike to multiple waterfalls.
We could get up to 3 bars Verizon but it would often drop to two.

This campground is right across the street from Cummins Falls State Park. We were driving on 40 and saw the sign to the Falls and decided to detour for the stop. The campground is about 10-15 minutes from 40. By the time we got to the park we had a spot to stay and made reservations to hike the gorge. The campground employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for a nicer stay. The hike was amazing!

Fantastic location across from the entrance to Cummins Falls State Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of room between the campsites. It can be kinda muddy if if it’s raining (gravel roads and low spots on the campsite), but all round a nice place. We’ll be back!

This is a beautiful campground, we stayed one night because we were trading in our RV and needed something close to Clarksville. Only negative was WiFi was very poor. On the positive the sites were nice and roomy, staff was super nice and restrooms were clean. If you don’t care much about WIFI this is a great place to relax. A bit of a drive to town, but that’s ok with me. We had a pull through site that was over 100 feet long, but due to locations of sewer, electric and water had to put RV more to one end, but again didn’t bother us at all. Sites are gravel and pretty level, we didn’t unhook due to a quick stop over.
