We arrived around 9pm. We went inside to check in with the manager and they welcome RVers. We also got a chocolate cake and ice cream dessert and it was tasty. The site isn’t too level (needed a couple leveling blocks). We can hear the highway noise but that didn’t bother us. In addition to us, there were two other RVs there.

We stayed here overnight. It’s not far from I-22 and it’s very convenient. The campground is well maintained. We have both water and electrical hook ups. The dump station is on the way out. We stayed at site 30 and it has a partial water view. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in July for 2 nights and the host was very nice. The bathroom with flushed toilets is very clean. This campground has some trees while Stillwater is more open and has nice view of lake and mountains.

Each site is pretty small so be prepared if you have a bigger rig. The dump station outside the campground is now functional (as of late July 2023).

We chose this campground because it’s a convenient place to stop over before going into Yellowstone. The area surrounding the campground is beautiful. The campground provides potable water but no dump station. There is a creek (or river?) by the campground which is pretty. Some sites are actually next to the creek. We will stay there again.

We stayed here overnight on our journey back home. It’s in July and we had a heat wave then. The temperature was 107 and our site was B05. B05 is right by water (like any other B sites). However B05 is one of the few that didn’t have trees that could provide shades. Yep, needless to say, it was very hot. Besides that, the campground has both water and electrical hookups. They provided a dump station on the way out.

Smaller campground and best for smaller trailers; not many sites will allow staying hitched. That said, we prefer smaller campgrounds that don't typically provide hook ups. Will stay again during future when passing through the Black Hills. We did hear and see some OHV's, but that didn't bother us.

We got hot the campsite around 4pm on Thursday night and multiple sites were available. The area is very convenient as it’s just off interstate and on a well paved road. Each site is pretty private. When we were there the aspens have turned to fall colors. Last thing, the campground is closed to supermarket (Safeway) and there are many restaurants nearby. This is definitely a good place to spend multiple days or a good place for a stop over before starting the journey again in the morning.

The campground is surrounded by Woods. Because of that; there are a lot of mosquitoes right now (which is to be expected with the heat and humidity). The site we are at is level and it looks like all sites have pretty level concrete pads. You might want to bring filter if you plan to use water hookup. The road is paved but don’t get hurry because of heaves. Each site is pretty private from each other.

We arrived in the late afternoon. It’s everything you would expect for a campground off an interstate. We stayed there for a night before traveling out west. The noise level is good even though it’s off the interstate.
