They actual invite you to stay here. Had pizza at the brew pub which was very good. Small town of 2500 souls. Stayed in a 28’ Class A. I could have stayed longer.

Great find right on the beach. Flush toilets, but no water. People were very friendly. The waves on the beach were really nice to watch and we fell asleep with the ocean sounds. We found water st the next campground up the road about 2 miles. Dumpsters here and there. We loved it. In the summer get here early.

Plenty of room in this cow pasture. But no cow pods. Interesting. We only saw cows at light. Our camp site is on grassland. Some other rigs around. All was quiet. Warm days and cool, quiet nights. Perfect.

The place is clean, quiet and safe. It is in the middle of no where. Pit toilets, water , picnic and large campsites. A lake next door, but it’s marginal. There is a nice camp host.
There are a few other ponds around and there are some interesting bird calls coming from that direction.
Ala-in-all a nice place to rest yourself for a night after a days drive.

Big rigs no problem.

First time camping here. Paid half price because if our senior pass. Some sites are not quite as level as we would like, but manageable. Dry camping, but water and put toilets are plentiful. Most sites shaded by tall ponderosa pines.

This is a fabulous camp. Well run by a long time camp host who keeps this place clean. The place shows his pride in his work. The place has a “just come home” feel to it.

Paid $9 a night with my geezer pass for full hook-ups. They have tent sites too.

Love camping at Temple Bar. It is very remote, about 28 miles from Interstate 93. There are showers available at the marina as well as laundry facilities. There is actually a lower campground which we stayed in. And an upper Campground that is closed due to non-use. The Forrest service or whoever is in charge, has stopped watering the upper Campground and all the beautiful planted trees and shrubs are dying. It’s very sad to see.

It’s a quiet campground with never very many campers in it. Spots are very private with ghost gum trees, olive trees and oleander bushes surrounding the sites. Short walks to the bathrooms.

We road our bikes around sunset every night just to end the day on a high note. The marina is very close, so we kayaked our hearts out.

There is a store with not many groceries for sale. You can get ice, gas, and propane.

All-in-all, a wonderful place.

Are coming and going, but we found a place in the shade. Showers were just OK, but they had plenty of hot water. Good cell service and the Starlink worked well. And did I meantion it’s free with a reasonable dump station and water.

A bit of an oasis. Plenty of trees and many spots to park big rigs. Pit toilets, very clean. Trash cans at each site and dumpsters for larger bags. Several water places to fill Wright and a dump station, free. And the sites have asphalt. Picnic tables, fire pits, and grills at each site.
Met friendly people and little noise. There is probably 16 or 17 sites. Only busy on Friday night. Then it cleared out.
We will definitely be back.
