With NM State Parks etc. closed due to Covid we are just driving thru the state. Clines Corner was clean with easy pull thru sites. Its a convenient parking area for a 1 night stop with hook ups and inside our rv road noise from 40 is just background.

Convenient to I40, with NM closed to non-residents at parks and quarantine due to covid this was a good one night stop while driving thru. Road noise is in the background but not bad in our closed up RV. Easy pull thru gravel parking with concrete divides and all hookups. Clean.

Driving up I was a bit put off by the obvious age of the property BUT after meeting the delightful owner we decided 1928 historic was worth a couple nights. We were settled by the owner into 2 sites with our rigs at right angles making a perfect grassy patio for relaxing with our fellow travelers. Electrical, water (tasted a bit musty), and sewer (had to use a double hose setup).

Stopped one night traveling thru area. Lots if hwy noise but a very pretty setting. Seems to be very popular with families. Later walking around wish we’d taken a no utilities site. 3 - Falcon Lake campgrounds are convenient to fuel, grocery, ice cream, food. Boating, beach, biking etc.

Excellent dispersed campsite, even picnic tables. Nice area for taking a hike. Some campers need to be more respectful to the environment but area was very clean except for a couple fire pits. Great star gazing.
Highway noise minimal. Road was slightly rocky at entry road and some sandy spots.

Easy access campsites for RVs or trailers, plus tent camping. Most sites on the smaller 25’ to 30’ length but a couple sites could take longer. Most sites back or drive in, a few pull thru. Pit toilets very clean and fresh. Water from old fashioned pumps only. Sites well spaced with tables and fire pits/grated.
Easy access to Florissant Fossil Beds, Pikes Peak road and Cripple Creek railroad plus nearby towns if you’re ok with 20-40 min drives.

Stopped for one night heading west. Interstate traffic was audible but more like white noise. Site’s tidy gravel and trees make it more pleasant. We travel this route periodically and would stop again for 1+ nights. Plenty of sites like Petroglyph National Historic Park nearby.
