Stopped here on our way down hwy 5. Large spots. We have two vehicles and a 35 ft 5th wheel. Fit fine in the space. We were in 78 which is great for our dog. Right behind us is a large dirt area and there is a gravel road you can take the dog down. Stickers but the road is good. Good Sam discount.

What a great place to de-stress. Very clean, quiet. We were in site 72 which was pretty shaded. Only one loop open right now. Full over the weekend but open spots during the week. You are allowed two cars which was nice and plenty of parking. Sites we plenty long. We would stay here again. The town of Canyon Lake is about 10 miles with services. Verizon fluctuated between 3 and 4 bars. Ok to stream Netflix. Some OTA channels.

We stopped here on our way to South Dakota. I made a reservation prior. Site #9 was perfect for our 35 fifth wheel. Able to park our truck right next to us in the site. There are some smaller sites in the park so do your research. Lots of pull throughs. No dump station on site. Water available near host site. Electric at site. We did not hear any of the traffic from I90 from our site. Train nearby. Maybe went by at night about 3 times. Beautiful river access. If visiting Missoula I would stay again. Also great for passing through. We will return. 44.00 after all the fees Drove up to Garnet Ghost town. About 1 1/2 hours to get there using hwy200 access

We are here now. Really tight sights. We were lucky enough to get one right next to the road. We will definitely need earplugs tonight. We picked this campground for the location close to Cape Canaveral. I’m guessing it must be really reasonable by the month because there are a lot of long term people here. Everyone seems nice. Tight turn to get into our sight #120 mostly due to parked cars around. Site is long enough for sure 35 ft fifth wheel. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

We are here now and love it. We don’t see the glass around that the other review states but maybe we just got lucky. Our site is very clean. We took a right at the smuggling sign. Only one border patrol has gone by that we have seen and it didn’t seem fast to us as stated in another review. I kinda like having them around so we aren’t bothered by it. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Lots of back roads to take. Very quiet and dark. Fuel seems a bit cheaper in Ajo than Why. Groceries in Ajo a bit expensive. We stocked up before we came and were glad. We did buy wine there and it was a bit pricey. But hey, campfire necessities. We would stay here again no problem. We also had great Verizon and several television stations.

I read some of the other reviews and they are right as far as close sites but if you want to dry camp it’s fantastic. Right on the water. 20.00 a night plus 5.00 per pet (up to two). We have stayed here several times during the winter months. I imagine that summertime would be packed with people and boats. Close to Laughlin, Bullhead for shopping and laundry. This is one of our go to places when passing through. And they didn’t charge us extra for an additional car like the state parks do.

Stayed one night while passing through. Gas station in town price seemed reasonable. No one else here. We parked in a larger gravel area and not one of the sites because there was still snow on the ground and it was pretty muddy. Would stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this campground. For 18 dollars a night you get large spaces, water and electric hookups (dump on site $5.00). This campground is exceptionally clean. The river sites all have a path down to the St. Joe River. Fly fishing is big here. No bait allowed and barbless hooks. Catch and release of certain kinds of fish. The town of Avery is close by and has a few interesting things to see. The home made hamburgers at the store are delish. We did some forest road exploring and hiking. Stop in at the ranger station in Avery and they have a ton of free info. We stayed here in October so after school was back in session and before major hunting season began. No reservations taken but no trouble getting in. The town of St. Maries is about 30 miles away. There was no cell service whatsoever even in Avery. No OTA television stations. Be ready to be unplugged from the outside world. The only negative I can speak of was the logging trucks on the road noise early in the morning. But all the good things about this campground outweigh that for us. I posted some photos. This campground shuts down during the snowy season.

Stopped here because we were doing a tour At Montana State. Not a lot of choices of parks that are close. Right in town and close to services , shopping and Costco. Typical KOA. It is off season so pretty empty which is nice. We needed to have a late checkout and they allowed us to do it although the staff said that during the busy season they would not have been able to accommodate us. Staff was friendly.

Pulled in about 2:30 on a Monday. 5 sites Three were taken. The other filled up before dark. Right on the river. No trash around. Mowed spaces. Large enough to fit any rig. All back in. Used to be free but now requires a Montana access pass. It’s 10.00 bucks for a year and that covers all of Montana. Did not use the restrooms I believe it is 7 day max stay. Train right next to the sites but no biggie for us We drove to Natural Bridge Falls. Highly recommend. About 40 minute beautiful drive.
