Eh... not for us. We originally came into town and were going to dry camp at the BLM land down the street but that was really crowded and right on the corner of busy streets so we went in search of an rv park. We ended up here because of availability. We were in one of the pull through sites close to the entrance. The traffic noise at night was really loud. I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Unless you get a site at the back of the park it’s really not a great place to stay IMO. A couple of long term residents with a little junk around their trailers. Lots of snowbirds (which we are also but we move around more ) They do have a nice trail area behind the park they leads to the stare park so that was a plus. We are mostly the people who want to boondock so take that into consideration when reading this review.

We are here now. We stay in a lot of Arizona State Parks. We would not stay here again and this is why. Close sites. Although we have plenty of room for our camping needs the spaces are staggered and open so people walk through your site constantly. Lots of barking dogs. We are in site #21 directly across from the parks very own septic processing plant. Smells like septic constantly. This area is not close to the dump station at all so I can’t say how it is down there. On the good side it is very clean and quite beautiful right on the river. For us this is too much like the KOA experience. We have Verizon and the cell service is terrible. They have wi-fi which can be ok if you get close enough. Overall not for us.

Only one border patrol has gone by that we have seen and it didn’t seem fast to us as stated in another review. I kinda like having them around so we aren’t bothered by it. We stocked up before we came and were glad. We did buy wine there and it was a bit pricey. But hey, campfire necessities. We would stay here again no problem.
