Breathtaking view and cool overlook of the Sutro Baths. Fun to walk through the paths to check out the Golden Gate Bridge (classic tourist spot).
Gorgeous views, esp. when it's a clear day. There's an area at the top of Lookout Mountain where you can go hang gliding. A friend and I hung out at sunset and watched about 15 hang gliders. Such a cool experience!
I stop in here often and love chatting with Lindsay about Cincinnati things. There's also a wonderful store dog named Diego. :)
They require a minimum 2 night stay for Fridays and Saturdays, but if you're willing to dish out the money to stay here it's totally worth it. Everything about this place is straight luxury. They have tons of spa options (including couples massage and hot stone massage). The grounds are beautiful and the pond is lovely. Peaceful, relaxing, romantic, good wine and spa treatments add up to the perfect weekend getaway.
First of all, can I just say how awesome the name of this place is and fun it is to tell other people you've stayed here? "Yeah, I spent my weekend at The Swag..." This is the perfect retreat after a long day of beautiful hiking. It's pretty isolated, but that's what makes this place incredible!! You definitely need to take a trip to Asheville, though. The views in this part of the country can't be beat.
Very couple & family friendly. They have super delicious gourmet breakfasts too! Yum :) The rooms themselves are cool with 12 ft ceilings, restored furniture and pretty spacious. Also, what's not to love about wrap around porches?
You can use the bikes they provide to ride along the beautiful beach! Definitely be sure to do the eco tour boat trip. It's hard to find a secluded beautiful place like this in Key West.
Warm southern hospitality and a large outdoor area that offers both sunny and shaded seating. What's better to do than read a good book on the porch swing? But the best part is that you're greeted with homemade mint juleps and chocolate chip cookies!!! :) All around great b&b!
