Chelsea's right, it's a great getaway spot. If you're a climber from the Kentucky/Ohio area, this place is your mecca.
Breathtaking view and cool overlook of the Sutro Baths. Fun to walk through the paths to check out the Golden Gate Bridge (classic tourist spot).
Gorgeous views, esp. when it's a clear day. There's an area at the top of Lookout Mountain where you can go hang gliding. A friend and I hung out at sunset and watched about 15 hang gliders. Such a cool experience!
I stop in here often and love chatting with Lindsay about Cincinnati things. There's also a wonderful store dog named Diego. :)
They require a minimum 2 night stay for Fridays and Saturdays, but if you're willing to dish out the money to stay here it's totally worth it. Everything about this place is straight luxury. They have tons of spa options (including couples massage and hot stone massage). The grounds are beautiful and the pond is lovely. Peaceful, relaxing, romantic, good wine and spa treatments add up to the perfect weekend getaway.
Very couple & family friendly. They have super delicious gourmet breakfasts too! Yum :) The rooms themselves are cool with 12 ft ceilings, restored furniture and pretty spacious. Also, what's not to love about wrap around porches?
You can use the bikes they provide to ride along the beautiful beach! Definitely be sure to do the eco tour boat trip. It's hard to find a secluded beautiful place like this in Key West.
Warm southern hospitality and a large outdoor area that offers both sunny and shaded seating. What's better to do than read a good book on the porch swing? But the best part is that you're greeted with homemade mint juleps and chocolate chip cookies!!! :) All around great b&b!
For a charming and incredible B&B, stay here!! Besides the convenience of free wifi, cable, mini bar and breakfast, the staff's friendliness and attention to detail add up to a magical stay. It's also walking distance from downtown Versailles!
Rooms start from about $120 a night and have that old world luxury feel. Berry Manor Inn is within walking distance from the shore, a total glorious view, and a great place to stay for exploring Rockland. Okay, they are also super well known for their delicious homemade pies which are to die for. :)
