This was our first experience with a private campground. Very clean, very expensive. Sites are pretty much stacked up on top of one another but there are full hook ups, wifi and cable tv. There is also a pool, fenced dog run, playground and broad rentals. We opted for a "lake" ground site. It's really a small pond but I did see people fishing out of it. It was only a few bucks more than the other sites. Ours was also s pull through quick I feel is cheating but it was the only sites available since I booked 1 day in advance and in a Friday. Site was not at all level front to back to the point at which my wife was worried that our Airstream would roll into the lake when we unhitched. 4 mi drive to downtown which is a plus. Another good alternative if you are visiting St Augustine and Anastasia SP is not available and Faver Dykes is too far away for you.

Beautiful natural setting. Quiet, water and 30 amp. Very private. We watched armadillos play from our front porch. Nature trail, amphitheater. Gate that closes the park down at 5pm, call ahead if you are running behind to get the code. Only downside was we stayed here to visit downtown St Augustine and it was a longish drive to the beach and downtown. 20 min or so. It was right off I95 though. Great back up plan if Anastasia SP is booked up.

Stayed 1 night, campground is in a beautiful setting under large trees. Really nice playground for the kids. Water and 30 amp. Quite a bit of road noise due to the fact that it's pretty much in the middle of a major city. Very convenient stop if traveling along I77 or I26.

Stopped here for an over night on our way to FL from OH. Large private sites. Quiet. Water and 30 amp. Beautiful lake, we hiked a short trail to view the lake in the morning. Allowed pets. Didn't use the shower house/RR. Road from US23 was under construction and really rough.

Stayed here while our oldest had surgery in West Palm Beach. Easy access from hwy1 and I95. Less than 2 mi from gas, Publix grocery, restaurants, hardware, liquor store, etc. Clean sites, ours was across from the playground so we could watch the kids from the front porch. Full hook ups, laundry (2.50 per load), a "library", clean shower house. No vegetation so not much privacy and the sun did get hot. Road and air traffic noise was also noticeable. Fire ring and grill were available. The river campground was undergoing renovations and I look forward to trying it out. Gated and they close the park at 8pm so call ahead to get the code if you are arriving late.

Stayed 2 nights Father's Day weekend. Lots of activities for the kids, well kept and clean facilities. Sites are 30 amp only, large and had a nice grassy area in the back for the kids to play. I would have preferred more shade and privacy. We did not use the restroom or shower house. Camp store and restaurant was nice with lots of food options. There is a marina where you can rent a boat. The lake was large and beautiful, not much in the way of trails and no real points of interest in the area.

Great campground in the middle of the best SP in Ohio. Our site was on the end o a turn around so it was very private. Beautiful tree cover for shade. Great hiking all around. We ate a great dinner at the lodge for our anniversary. Paved and 30 amp, no water. Our site was heavily sloped to the point that out trailer younger was almost touching the ground. Nice clean shower house, two pools, laundry. Looked like they are renovating several sites to have water as well.

Stayed the night here to get a jump on the day at the Wilds. Really a nice area, 60,000 acres of public use land with 8 campgrounds, lakes, trails. We found a pull through site next to a small creek large enough to group camp with 2-3 small RVs and a tent. No hook ups and no cell service but who cares. Great fun. Plus it was 11mi from the wilds. Definitely will be back.

Stayed the weekend with two other couples with kids. No cell service. 30 amp electric, nice shaded paved sites, large with a small creek in the back. Did not use the shower house. Laundry was available as well as almost any basic camping essential in the camp store. We fished in Pine lake, there's a large beach area, mini golf and a really nice nature center. Down side is the lack of anything else to see or do in the area and some tight and twisting roads leading into the park.
