Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 23, 2022Stopped here for an over night on our way to FL from OH. Large private sites. Quiet. Water and 30 amp. Beautiful lake, we hiked a short trail to view the lake in the morning. Allowed pets. Didn't use the shower house/RR. Road from US23 was under construction and really rough.

We needed to stay somewhere in Northeastern Kentucky. We found this campground on Campendium. We would’ve preferred to boondock somewhere, but our time was short. We also needed to replenish our fresh water tank, so we decided to try this place!
Apple Maps took us to a Golf Course nearby! We just turned around, went back to the golf course turn-off, and continued down the road that had brought us in. We ran right into the park!
We didn’t know what to expect. It was beautiful! The roads were paved, the sites are level, and appropriately spaced. The bathhouse is spotless. Getting here on a Wednesday in March, we had the place to ourselves! I am absolutely certain that once spring is in full bloom that this place will be hopping! The natural beauty around us is just breathtaking! This definitely a hidden gem!!
