This was a last minute choice due to an unforeseen furnace issue. After trying to find other locations in the surrounding area, and no luck, my wife reminded me that we were Elks members and that some Elk Lodges had camping areas.

This was a first come 1st served with 14 spots with electrical hookups. We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and there were 3 spots open. The camp host met us immediately and gave us the specifics as well as a reminder to fill our fresh water tank because these are electric sites only. There is a fresh water fill spigot as well as 24 hr bathrooms access, camp sink and laundry options.

Our site backed up to some red cliffs. All the electrical sites were along the red rocks. These sites as well as no hookup sites were part of a large parking area. You also had an option to dry camp along the edge overlooking a nice green golf course with another set of red cliffs as a backdrop. Prices are a suggested donation of $25 for electric and $15 for dry.

Gorgeous area and super quiet.

Not much in the way of cell service. There was good free wifi.

We were there for an Airstream Rally, which meant the restrooms and showers were open. Apparently, they are not always open. The Grove is a general camping area with no specific sites with clustered electrical hookups, some 30 amp, some 50 amp and water hookups, no sewer.

The Grove itself has a nice grove of pine trees to provide shade, there is also additional space not shaded but easier to park RVs. (no trees to maneuver around)

Our Rally had about 46 attendees. There was another event going on at the same time for youngster to show off their prize animals. Highly entertaining, but you wanted to watch where you were walking.

We stayed an extra day to do some bicycling in the area. The bicycling was nice but an added benefit was we didn't have to wait in line to dump our tanks.

A nearby road had an enormous amount of noisy truck traffic

The low rating is based on value for the money. Only one issue, and that was that my power pedestal had the 50 amp wired incorrectly. The 30 amp worked fine and they did get an electrician out the next day to correct the wiring. Nice looking, clean, newer park, close to interstate (Noise). Not much of a camp store, but no need with shopping nearby. 1st couple nights the park was pretty full, then it tapered off.

My wife mentions, they had a lot of rules.

Pleasantly surprised. Easy in and out access, we had a back in site near the pool and looked out over the runway at the airport. Yes, at times it was noisy and busy, but we enjoyed the takeoffs and landings. I would go again and make reservations for at least a week and also rent a golf cart to get around. The beach was a straight shot from the park. Long ways to walk but quick to bicycle to. Stayed May 9-14, 2022

Cute little park, we had 50 amp service and water. Dump station was handy on the way out. gravel drive pad, picnic table, some shade.

If in the area again, I would stay here.

Bathrooms were cleaned and fully stocked. Picnic table needed a fresh coat of paint, easily taken care of with a table cloth. Some road noise during school rush hour.

No wifi, plenty of bars on verizon, but morning and evenings, the data rates were SLOW.

The bad was the shower house was quite dated and stalls were tiny. Hot tub was not functional. The good news was that the operators were very friendly the overall campground was in good shape with future improvements being worked on. Most sites were pretty level (ours was). even a little privacy screen and views of the Olympic Mtns. Far enough away from the main road to keep things quiet.

Nothing special. No major issues.

Very pleased with our site.

Not so pleased with cleaning schedule in bathroom, only partial pool openings, site seemed a little run down.

Even with the large amount of trees and bushes to buffer the sound from interstate, it was still noisy.

Not knowing the other campgrounds in the area, I don't have a good comparison. I would probably stay again.

Camp wifi was good once I boosted the signal.

This was a good take off point for bicycle riding (20+ miles) as well as driving into town to take advantage of Snake River opportunities. The road next to camp was busy.

We had what was called a shared site. It was ok, and would depend on who you shared with. We had an overwatered grass area. (ie muddy). Most of campground was dirt roads, consequently the bathroom floors were either dirty or muddy in case someone showered. They were cleaned daily.

Exception wifi.

I'll lead with the bad parts. Over 200 sites, roughly 70% long term. For the men, there were 2 toilets total, women 6 stalls. No seats within the shower stalls. Sites were a little tight. Seems like a lot of little rules that were not being applied equally, like not having anything under your trailer.

Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall the KOA was well maintained, clean and had an attractive appearance. Our site had a nice grass section and picnic table on a concrete pad with a shade tree.

There were other amenities that we did not partake of.

We had a premium site with a tricked-out patio. Sites were larger than I expected for the Keys.

They say this was remodeled, but really this place was rebuilt. AND, I think they did a really good job. Our site was a pull thru and we had no issues getting in or out other spots deeper in the campground might be a little tighter.

Their WIFI worked the way it should. Didn't really need my hotspot.
