Easy enough to find. We got 1 of the last places at the front of the park. First part of the park is level gravel, second part looked too sketchy for us to try with our 17ft trailer. Our site was well away from neighbors, fire pit. Other sites were closer together.
Views of the mountains were beautiful, lights of the city Las Cruces were incredible at night. We travel with 2 dogs, they did fine. No goats heads, or cactus too close to the site that we saw.
Would stay here again

Stayed 1 night on the way to Tucson and 1 nt on the way back. Both times had a good experience. Good wifi, clean restrooms. Laundry was not open yet for the season, April 26th. Quarter for showers. Did not use, so I can't review. Full hook-ups. Recommend.

Perfect boondocking.
Some paved roads easy to navigate. Vault toilets clean, located at the headquarters. Water also available there.

Stopped at this point after a long road drive. Very happy to find how clean and well kept. We got a pull thru site. Level gravel pad, full hook-ups. We were only here for an overnight break so I don't know about the facilities. It is across the street from the railroad, and trains came through several times through the night, but I was so tired it didn't bother me. Road noise is high.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Stopped for 1 night, if we like a place and if possible,we extend our stay. Not here.
Cons- Had to fill out an application online before we got there with information and pics of our dogs to make sure they were not aggressive breeds. If we were approved, they would send an email. There aren't many choices in the area and we were visiting friends, otherwise we would have skipped this park. When we arrived, I went to the office to check in where I had to show my driver's license and a credit card. But, wait there's more!
The office person said I'll hold on to your card and license til your husband brings his in. When he went in the lady says I need to see your vehicle registration, proof of insurance and trailer registration and insurance. We've never been treated in this manner ever. We were issued badges that you must wear if you go to any of the common areas. You will incur another charge if you don't return them. Yup, we forgot in our haste.
Pros-the campground is very clean. The dog run is very large and nice though,I only used it once because the "non-aggressive" dogs would lunge at my dogs through the fence. I walked them instead.
The laundry room is large with lots of machines and they have clothes lines for you to use if you wish. You need to download an app to use the machines and put a minimum of $25.00. A very sweet gentleman I had met earlier, let me use his account. He stated he would never use the whole amount while he was staying there, and I reimbursed him.
I can't review the rest of the park since I had a sour taste in my mouth for the place.

Key take aways- any dog can be aggressive if not properly trained and campgrounds need to wake up to this.
Office staff needs hospitality training

Reservations are made online through the .gov website listed on the compendium site. Was able to use my national parks pass for a discount. Normal rates are $19.50. We paid 9.50. Partial hook-ups 30amp electric and water.
Beautiful and peaceful. Sites are large, picnic table under a shelter, and grill. Our site is level, with cement under the picnic table and around the firepit.
We are only here for 1 nt, but we would love to spend more time here.
Internet 2 bars Verizon.
Download or bring DVD'S, we didn't get any local stations for night viewing.
You can hear traffic off in the distance, but it didn't disturb us.

Stopped on way home. Stayed 1 night.
Self check in at kiosk.
Good cell service Verizon.
Large site, gravel pad. Some more level than others. Electric only hookup, plenty of places to top off your fresh water tank.
Beautiful park. Would stay again. Dump stations on grounds.

Very clean facilities. Laundry room clean, use quarters, they have change in the office, washers($2.00) and dryers($1.50). Big enough cement pads for your trailer and truck. Space between neighbors kinda close, but enough to open a slide.
This seems to be a worker rv park as there was quite a few long term ppl there.
Grounds were well maintained.
Good stop over, close to many attractions.
Dogs welcomed.
Felt safe but there is allot of city noise.

State park, partial hookups, water and electric. Dump station on site. Large spacious sites. Clean restrooms, showers need a bit of repair but fully functional.
Beautiful here. So many area sites to see. Hiked the ruins, Petrified forest close by, Winslow, I would stay here for a lot longer if I could!

Don't miss this one!

Staff was so very friendly. After being road weary, this was welcome overnight rest. Showers are large and clean. All hook ups available. Definitely recommend.
