Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on July 18, 2021Very clean & comfortable. Stayed 2different nights in the last month as I was passing through. Reasonable, hot showers via tokens from office. Comfortable place for a single female traveling alone. Thank you for a pleasant stay!
The campground host is wonderful! the camp site is very cozy and off the road enough. free showers and a clean bathroom. =]
night check in with exact change tents sites $18.56 (w tax) hot showers w tokens from office.
Gorgeous area and a good campground to stay at. It was nice and quiet and clean. The showers are on a time limit but hot and better than none.
Very nice campsite! The showers and campsite were clean. The sites are spread out nicely so you don't feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. If it rains make sure you bring a change of shoes, because it does get muddy.
Beautiful mountains surround this campground to give it a forest-like feel. Not far from Albuquerque which is to the west and Santa Fe is also nearby. The owners are very nice and come out and speak with each guest personally. The campground is clean, mostly level and pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Visit Albuquerque during the day and return to this gem in the mountains and cooler air. Warning though, the winds here can get gusty here. There's a BBQ restaurant nearby and trails to walk off the ribs and potato salad at Guitierrez canyon open space less than a mile away. Small grocery store and gas stations are available but if you have special food preferences the nearest Smith's or Albertsons is a 15 minute drive to town. Take a day trip to Santa Fe on the Turquoise Trail Scenic road (NM 14). The sites are moderately sized, have picnic tables and the wifi is decent. During our stay the laundry was not available, that was another trip to town. Stay 6 nights get the 7th free and mention if you're a Good Sam member.

Wow! Gorgeous campground nestled in mountains above ABQ. 20 minute drive to town, but there is a wonderful local grocery, restaurants, hardware store, etc. 3 minutes down the road. Our site had full hookups, 20, 30 or 50 amp, water, sewer and wifi. The staff is fantastically accommodating and they have shower tokens and a restroom if you need one.
